- AnnoyedThey have called twice and do not leave a message.
- another annoyed personNo message left, but I called back and the recording says "Thank you for calling Credit Watch Services".
I hung up after that. - PatrickCollections company based in Texas who use a call-bot to spam your message box for someone they are looking for.
It does not matter to them that they have a wrong number so you have to sort it out for them or change your number.
Here in Canada it cost $0.25 per minute on a pay as you go phone to check your messages, multiply that by 10 per week and you are paying $10 per month to hear a message for someone else who probably owes them $50 or less... it would be cheaper for me to pay their bill.
Guys if you are reading about yourselves, why the F... are you calling a Canadian number?
There is a reason why these companies use the phone... It's hard to sue with no paper trail!- Caller: Credit Watch Services

- Paula Stubbs| 2 repliesI just got a call from this number. The automated voice said there was a citation out in my name and that I needed to call them back right away.

- Susan replies to Paula Stubbs| 1 replyI just got a call from them with the exact same message. And they were calling on behalf of the City of Albuquerque.
Did you call them and if so, what was the outcome? - Carlos replies to SusanIs this a scam?
- tina| 4 repliesHey folks I am from Albuquerque, and my daughter in law has been getting these calls from 1-877-444-3343, I just found out from the City of Albuquerque that they have hired this company to collect their red light ticket fees, that were issued by those ridiculous cameras. We no longer have the cameras but the tickets are still lingering and Albuquerque wants their money. The city had to pay for the use of the cameras, so they expect to get paid too. It's a load of poo if you ask me. There has been no official ticket issued, and there is no record of it at metro court, so no warrant will be issued. This is a case of citizens getting caught up in a private company working in conjunction with local governments to create a source of income. It did not work here or in many other cities because it is a crooked set-up. They shortened the yellow lights, which caused folks to either, speed up to get through the yellow light before it changed to red, which got them a speeding ticket,or getting a ticket for running a red. It was a lose lose situation if you came upon a intersection with one of those camera setups. Total scam all the way around. So if you are getting a call you have been sent to collections so the city you got caught in can pay their red light camera bill before THEY get sent to collections.

- Susan replies to tina| 2 repliesHey Tina!
Thanks for the response and the info. This brings some light to the picture (my husband got nabbed from one of those cameras but we paid it - back in 2008). We haven't lived in Albuquerque since 2009 so something just isn't right.
I don't think that I'm going to call them as the City of Albuquerque already has our money - and I've got a receipt. The last thing I want to do is give more information to a scammer - any more than they already have.
Thanks again. - DaveMy parents were receiving phone calls for me at their house. They live in El Paso and I live in Albuquerque. As I was reading everyone’s response, I was also skeptical and was thinking it was a scam, but it is not a scam. I also read and watched a video from Channel 7 KOAT News (http://www.koat.com/news/Company-placing-phon ... wz/-/index.html), which verified who they were a little bit more. I called the 1-877-444-3343 number. I said I received a phone call from them and was calling back to find out information. He started looking me without me giving him information. He said he was looking for a Richard someone, which was not me. So I started to think, it is a scam. What he was doing was using the number I was calling from, which was my work number. He then asked for the number that received the messages and so I gave him that phone number (my parent’s El Paso number). He then said I had 3 outstanding citations in the City of Albuquerque. He was not too good with giving me information, so I kept on asking questions. Who, where, what, when. He was able to give me the location of the citation, date, total amount for all of the citations (not each), a citation number & license plate number. I told him that I did not receive any citation in the mail and if they could send me a copy or is there a place to view the citation. There is a website to view the citation – photos & videos (depending if they took video, they had 1 video for me). Here is the website: www.photonotice.com . You will need the Citation Number; License Plate Number; and the City Code (which is ABQ). I was able to see my old vehicle, photos, videos & locations that were legit. He mentioned that I had to pay by the end of the month (May). I did not ask what if I did not pay. I am assuming it just might go to legal actions and/or debt agencies. He did mention that when I called back they might give me a payment discount or I can set-up a payment plan. The only weird thing is the amount he gave me over the phone versus what the website said. He gave me a total amount. On the Photo Notice website, you are able to pay for each citation with a $3.95 fee on each citation. The total of all 3 citations with the fee added was still $48.15 less than the total he told me over the phone. So we will see what will happen the next time I call.

- DaveIt was REDFLEX, the company that owned the Red Light, Speeding Cameras in Albuquerque. 2 of the citations were not at lights, they were on streets & Interstate (I-40) that were being checked for speeding.

- BuggedI have received many calls from this number...same thing credit watch on behalf off the city of Albuquerque looking for the person that used to have my telephone number. I called them and explained to them that the person they are looking for does not have this telephone number, since I have had it for only a couple of months. The woman that answered was polite, and said she would remove my telephone number from their system. I normally don't call places like this back, but I was tired of the endless phone calls from these people. I guess time will tell if they removed my number from their system,

- Nadine replies to Susan| 1 replyTina -
I too, have received several calls from this company. After some research, it is true that this is a result of unpaid ticket. What may have happened to you, is that you moved and they were sending the ticket to your old address. That's what happened to me. Bottom line, you don't want to ignore this unless your credit being affected is not important to you. We have had many clients be hit on their credit reports from this company, which is becoming a pain since these clients are trying to buy homes and now, they have to get this removed from their report, which can only be done by paying them. - Elspeth replies to NadineYou obviously didn't read where the poster HAD paid the ticket and has the receipt.
- BSI have gotten repeated calls from this number. The automated message begins by saying that "this is a call on behalf of the city of Albuquerque...about a citation". I have checked with local law inforcement and the city of Albuquerque and have no citations. I Googled this number and found this site! ARG!!! The most annoying thing is I have a Net10 phone. I have blocked this number, but they are still able to call and leave a voice mail. I have put my number on the do-not-call registary...hoping this ends it.
Good luck! - PaulaThey called me again! Arg!!!! Called them back and she said they are just a collection agency. I already checked with the City of Albuquerque and I have no citations. She got quiet. I told her I had checked with the city and that they were harassing me. I mentioned lawyers sueing them for harassment...and she quit talking. I hung up. ???? Waiting to see. I am on the do-not-call list....but they do not seem to follow that. I told her to "take me off your call list". So let us hope and pray that they do!

- ValeryConstantly getting calls from this number stating I have a citation. I checked my city website and found no outstanding citations in my name.
- Dino replies to tinaI'm also in Albuquerque. I also get this phone call almost everyday. The robo clerk ask for Jonathan Gunn (name might be mispelled, sorry about that}. It goes on saying that if you are not this person to hold and talk to an agent and get your name off this record. There's some thing wrong with this. I mean, I'll just give them a correct name to the phone number they dialed and then I get the harassing phone call. I don't have any out standing traffic, so I just don't return their call at anytime. You usually have a gut feeling its a spam. Follow that feeling and don't call them back and protect your personal information.
