The message stated something about an emergency repair contract.  The beginning of the message was garbled.  When I returned the call, there was no idetifying company and I was directed to leave a message.  The phone message that was left on my phone stated that I needed to call this number (877-444-7740)and use the reference # UP14.  When I called the number, I was asked to leave a message.  There is no identifying name or business for this number.

The phone number is associated with a company that provides "managed home emergency repair programs". Specifically, in my area (Jackson, NJ) they are offering insurance for the repair/replacement of water lines and/or sewer lines to your home. (Homeowners are generally responsible for the lines from the street to the house). It's a legit company and BBB Accredited. As with most insurance policies you have to decide if you need it. (kinda like maintenance contracts on you home appliances). In my neighborhood there have been several problems with water lines that the builder installed and within a few years some of them broke and the expense to repair was up to $2500 which was not covered by most homeowners policies and the builder assumed no responsibility. The insurance offered by Home Service USA costs $173.76 per year which will cover up to $14,000.00 per year in claims. If you only want water line insurance the premium is less.
Long story short... I elected the water line only insurance and the phone calls that I was getting was to attempt to entice me to add on the sewer line insurance. Hope this helps.

Kind of a moot point in our area since we are all wells and septic systems.  Don't know why they would be calling here.
