Is this a 2021 travel & cruise expo at Hilton garden inn

looked like a check coming in the mail, opened it. Said the stuff others said.... might call just to tie up the phone for them. Believe it is a scam.... But so little avail. entertainment..... I have no CC or Bank account.... so that is my input into this scam

What "others" are you referring to? The only other post in this thread makes no mention of receiving a check in the mail. How about you give us some actual "input into this scam" & tell us what this check is allegedly for?

Solar panel installer, sends mailing which states "Action Required - Do Not Ignore" and  "Official Business - Penalty for Private Use $300" on the front and claims "The state has mandated that a certain number of homes produce their own power" and "Your neighborhood has been chosen for conversion."
Laughable scam to anyone who reads with skepticism. And despite the "Official Business..". indication, taken word for word from the statement used on official US government mailings, the mailing permit number is attached to a firm that does commercial mail solicitations. (Discovered this from searching the Zip/permit combination and finding an affidavit filed in a another mail fraud investigation mentioning them.)
