I am on the do not call list and this number calls a number of times in a row.

Penn Credit looking for old default debts.

Penn Credit, from other reports on the net, is NOT a legitimate collection agency (if any of them are).  I, personally, have no debts.  This particular company probably uses available privacy invading sites to determine where you have been, financially, in your past, particularly as it pertains to medical expenses.  They then use this information to trump up bogus debts and harass the you know what out of you.  I guess I frustrate them, by not answering their some 13 calls which started 12/22 and continued through today.

got a call from this # @ 8:15 am on 1-22 -2015... calling for my ex-husband...I didn't answer...but called them back later that afternoon,,,I asked how did you get my #...she wouldn't answer my ?...I told her she was calling about me ex-husband and that he is now deceased...she wanted me to fax a copy of the death certificate... I told her 1st of all I don't have a fax machine & even if I did I wouldn't waste my time..."look his name up, you'll see that he's dead...end of conversation!!!

Additionally, I have blocked this # but they still call & hang up. What a bunch of jerks! Also, they have other #'s they use besides this one. They don't give up! I can't wait until I collect my $1,000 per call that I can legally collect. Go ahead "877-460" - keep calling. I'll be rich slimeballs!!!!!!

Got call today at 8:55 am asking for someone with my daughters first name. Told them no one by that name lives here.

They called me today and asked for my neighbor. Skip tracing I guess. I have nothing to do with her.

They call my cell multiple times a week. I have no outstanding debts or past due. They never leave a message. I am on the  DNC list which is a damn joke!

How do you legally do that, pleass? They called my home asking for my husband saying they aare rw a debt collector. I called back several times asking for a supervisor abd they keep hanging up on me!

You'll have to seek legal assistance.  The Federal Fair Debt Collection Act gives people the option to file a civil action against
debt collectors who violate the act.

DNC does not cover debt collectors.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

Keeps calling,  never leaves a message, I received a letter in the mail saying I owed 4k in State Taxes to a State I never lived in, I called the number on the letter and left a message. Called the State in which this company is claiming I owe money too and they no nothing about it....
