This is a phone number from the Golden 1 Credit Union Member Service Contact Center.  I answered the call and it was a legit call to me.  I'm listing the call type as Unknown as there is not an option to indicate that it is a valid call.

Another call from this number so I called the number back.  As reported in previous reports, this is Golden1 Credit Union.  I used to have an account with them, but everything was cleared out and the accounts closed.  The Customer Service representative checked for any remnant account information and found none. Simply, I'm  not in their system, at all.  So, this brings me to the conclusion that this is a scam using Golden1's number as the spoofed number.  Unless you have an account with Golden1, consider this a scam.  If you have an account then you may want to call Golden1 to see if and/or why they were trying to contact you.  You can also do this at your local Golden1 office.  My call was a scam call, your's may not be if you have an account with them.

Still calling.  This time it was with a different CallerID ("TOLL FREE NUMBER") but it's still a scam.

These scammers are still calling.  I haven't had an account with Golden 1 Credit Union for many years and have already verified this fact by calling Golden 1 myself and talking to them, and also letting them know that someone is using their number to scam people.

PHISHING SCAM TARGETING GOLDEN 1 MEMBERS

    What is happening?

I got a call from this number and since I didn't recognize it, I didn't answer.  When I looked up the number and discovered it was from Golden One credit union, I called back.  I waded through the security to get to a representative who looked at my accounts.  There had been no activity except paying off a credit card.  She obviously went through everything thoughroughly and could find no notes or problems. The purpose of the call is still mysterious.

Called, left no message.  I have never had an account with Golden 1 Credit Union, so I assume a scammer is spoofing their number

Looks like this scum is starting another cycle through their phone number list.  Been quite a while since they called me.  The easiest block is to simply block all 877 numbers.  You might continue to be called, but your phone won't ring.
