If you computer/laptop screen goes grey/blue/etc with error message, and a box with info from Microsoft saying you need to call this number, IT IS A SCAM!

I received a message while in Microsoft Edge stating "a serious malfunction has ..... Call 877-465-8221 and speak with a certified Microsoft Technician to resolve this issue.  being lazy I decided to call the number.  A man with an Indian accent answered and I told him of my plight.  Immediately he said he'd would need to "remote" access into my computer.  I asked to speak with a Tech in the USA and asked for the Name of his company.  His response was "if you don't trust me, then fix it "youself" then hung up.
I under stand that others have received called from this #.  IT'S ALL A SCAM PEOPLE!!!
