who is this mulitple calls last few days to my cell

"I am an education consultant" said in a heavy accent. Didn't catch her name because I was at work and wasn't supposed to be on my cell phone anyway. Just hang up on them.

Has anyone gotten calls from this number? Rings twice, no message left... has called multiple times.

Jan 10, 2012, received three calls in one day!!  Leaves no message.

Mine also said she was an "education consultant" and had a very thick accent, sounded German? I think its because I tried one of those "scholarships for moms" contests

This # keeps calling at all hours and leaves no msg.

Called 3 times today asking for my husband, told them all he was at work and offered to take a message.  They hung up on me each time.  Tried to call it back, but it does not accept calls.  I'd report this to the Do Not Call List, but I've come to realize that it's just a joke; they don't fine anybody, evidently, cause my crap phone calls are on the rise again.

I've been receiving calls from this company with no msg left - I finally called back and it is regarding furthering education.  My number is already on national do not call registry and never requested this company to fish for services using my telephone number.  I had to manually enter my information to get removed from their calling list & was notified it could take up to 24/48 hours to be removed.  How the heck did they get my number to begin with.

Pissed about intrusion.

They wont stop calling. They leave no message.

ok to people who dont know this , telemarketing companies now have machines that call you and wait to see if you will answere if you dont it calls back till you do and when you do it will call back till you answere it 3 times , this now tells the main computer of a telemarketing agency what times you are home , it then adds your # to the list of #s to call at what ever time it finds that you are home , if someone calls and you answere and they say nothing , start pushing random #s quickly on your phone , this then tells the machine that called you that it has reached a fax machine and then automaticaly (yup you got it) removes your # from the list. another thing i like doing is when a telemarketer calls , simply tell them to hold on a sec for what ever reason and set the phone down till it start beeping , rather than the telemarketer wasting your time , you just wasted his.

I was so annoyed by these callers that do not say anything  that I started to block them. The only problem is that I had to pay $100 for a digitone call blocker that blocks all the numbers by area code e.g 1-800 or 1-877. In the long run it is much better and cheaper than using the phone company call blocker because it gives more flexibility compares to blocking up to a max of 10 numbers.

I just got a call from this number AS I was reading these threads! I turned my answering machine off and let my fax kick in instead. Let's see how this works...will keep you all informed.

Call is either generated by registering for continued education or most likely from having completed and scholarship applications or registering with any scholarship finding websites.

If you wait till after the call and call back you will get a recording that states who they are and give you the option to remove yourself from their call list, we'll see if that actually works or not.

Don't want any call this number.

This number has been calling me nonstop for the past few days - about 4 times per day. I answered twice and spoke with a person and I told her to not call me again - they have continued to call.
