- Jen| 2 repliesI also noticed a charge in the amount of $9.60 and the name DEN Enterprises, #18774874751 on my online bank statement on 2-22-08. I keep very careful records on my checking account, so I called my bank immediately and they cancelled the card since I did not recognize the company name or charged amount. My bank manager told me the number on the card was apparently used to make the charge electronically over the internet. She also said she tried to call their 1-800 number and only to receive some phony "leave a message" forwarded to a voicemail. I will be filing a complaint against DEN Enterprises for fraud with the Attorney General.
- Hank Franco replies to JenI too got a charge on my account from Den Enterprises for $9.55 today - I called my bank today; they couldn't do anything because it has not posted yet.....who can I talk to about this Fraudulent Charge?
- CarineI got a charge of 9.65. My bank statement said it was charged on march 17, 2008. I haven't used my debit card in a few months because the magnetic strip is damaged and unusable so it was odd how i received a charge on it. So i called the # and it went to a machine..then i knew. FRAUD. Gonna go to my bank in a little bit to cancel my debit. Don't want to risk getting another ridiculous charge. UUGGGHHHHH

- Jonathan| 2 repliesFound a charge for $9.55 from DEN ENTERPRISES on my credit card dated 5/12/08. Called card issuer, they said it's some kind of internet game store.
- J. Shack| 1 replyChecked my credit card account and had a charge posted 5/26/08 for $9.60 from Den Enterprises that I did not make. I Google'd "Den Enterprises" and saw the fraud alerts. Called the credit card company and disputed the charge. Told them about the fraud alert I had found on line. The representative checked and found the same alerts. Said they would post an alert within the credit card company. I suggested they should scan for all contested charges from this company. Suspect law enforcement would respond to a complaint from them if they find several thousand contested charges. Don't call the 800 number, you only get a voice mail but no company name. Understand that number is used to make calls pretending to be a collection agency (but won't give the called party their company name.)

- PB replies to J. ShackDitto - just finished filing a debit card claim for the $9.55. Of course, I had to cancel the card, and spent a long time researching my auto-debits to change them. Note to self - keep a list of payments I set up to auto-pay on my debit card.. I had to schlep through online statements to figure it out. Anyway - these guys are slugs.. I also did suggest to the claim department that they search by vendor name or amount, since $9.55 seems to be their favorite number. I can't imagine how they got the card number, but I do purchase things online, so I'm as vulnerable as anyone. Thank goodness for Total Security Protection at Bank of America. They'll reimburse next business day.
- jim Pace replies to JenI noticed a charge of $9.65 from DEN ENTERPRISES on my debit card also. Bank told me I would have to wait for it to clear to do anything. No idea where this came from. Curious though does anybody here have an account thru Blizzard Games for access for World of Warcraft or Xbox Live thru Microsoft? From what I have read about this DEN ENTERPRISES it might have something to do with a game store. Maybe some freak from MS or Blizzard is responsible for this. I did do some transactions thru both of those companys in the past two days/
- Cynthia replies to Jonathan| 1 replyI believe this may be for Warcraft (my husband plays the game).
- Art replies to CynthiaI do not think it is for World of Warcraft, or anything like that. My account was just hit with a charge from DEN Enterprises, and nobody in my household has ever played an online game that requires pay.
