I got a advertisement on my mailbox for free water for participation in a environmental product preview.  I called the number and the fellow was VERY unprofessional and asked if I was married, divorced, single or none of the above, but set up an appointment for the next day and when no one showed up at that time I called the number and another man answered and said he couldn't get in touch with my area.  I cancelled the appointment.  Sounds like a scam to me.

I got a flier left on my mailbox that said call 1-877-490-3046 for a free 24 case of drinks by doing a product review for an environmental product today. It looks like a scam to me for sure. I live in South Carolina if that helps anyone out.

I also got a flyer on March 8, 2011, and called the 1-877-490-3046 number, and a man answered on the line immediately, and asked me which drinks I liked the most. I told him pepsi, and then gave out my address for delivery between 6:00-6:30 pm. No one showed up, and I called the # back, and the same guy picked up and said that the delivery crew must be running behind, and asked if it was okay to deliver any time the following day......He said there basically was no way to contact the drivers.....This sounds like a scam to me as well.

I just got a thing in the mail that looks like a lotto ticket. It is a scratch off jackpot slots type thing, on the back it boasts of various prizes (MacBook Air, Chefmaster BBQ Set, Kitchenworthy Serving Set, Canon Powershot Camera, iPod Touch or $10k prize. On front at bottom it shows that I may be asked to view a FilterQueen Indoor Air Quality System Demonstration.
I haven't called or anything (though numbers show up on this scratch off that I'm a winner)
I came to this site to see if anyone else has experienced anything and I"m going to go with a hard pass on this. Thanks :)

Off to the recycle bin. Scratch the card? You won! Every cards a winner, imagine that. Many times the prize in these things, after the useless product demonstration, is to put in a draw for a prize. So your prize - is to be entered in a draw for a prize. Used to get poker ones all the time.

Was it a winning card. I did get the 10k 777 Jackpot card. I don't believe they would just put 10k in the mail, and give it a way. Lol because they feel like it. Idk but would be nice to win and finish school at my.hood college.

So -- I guess we are all rich then -- I got the "1 in 1,000,000" scratch card too: 777 (in WA state). Aren't there some pretty strict lottery rules, and isn't this in violation, and who enforces?

Read the note at the bottom, which says that "Order of winning hands does not match the order of prizes."  They can tell your your "winning hand" matches whichever prize (i.e., the $16 prize) they want and how would anyone know??  Scam to try to dupe you into buying something, I'm sure.

We received the 10k winning scratch card as well. My husband and I were excited. We scheduled the appt. Wondering if they will show up.

Fine print says order of winning hands does not match the order of prizes. I got 777 too! It's probably the serving set or BBQ set. Scam.

The 777 lotto slots I received was sponsored by the Filterqueen Quality Air Purifier company or something like that. I already bought one of those purifiers. It worked great, up until it was stolen and I only had the debt to repay as my reward. Since I am in the Filterqueen system, it did not surprise me they would remind me of the old purchase by telling me I "won" something. It is not necessarily a scam, but a dead-beat advert campaign. Please disregard, unless you want an air purifier that is okay.

I agree with this should be enforced, but it says directly on the card that no obligation required etc, which means they are pretty much covering their [***]. My husband and I received the card and was going to call but if they want someone to come to my house for a "demonstration", I don't think so. I can earn $10k through working not giving out my personal info

Yes that's exactly what happened to me! I was also a winner; 4 of a kind kings with a 7. If you also have it then it must be a scam to get you to go there.

I won too!!! 777....but it does say Must accept prize, if available....Promotion may be terminated without notice....Available prizes decrease as prizes are awarded....then on the back Winning hand must be verified with master key chart to determine prize.....I can guaranty everyone its going to be the KitchenWorthy Serving Set (retail value $16.00) or a wooden spoon since they probable gave away several of them so the prize decreased.

Just goes to show you the post office will take any money it can get from these crap advertisement companies, plus isn't it federally illegal to mail lottery tickets?
