Caller left the following message: "The reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that we just suspend (sic) your Social Security Number because we found some suspicious activity. So if you want to know about this case, just press 1, thank you."

I pressed 1 and was asked for my name and ss number.  When I asked how I would know the call was valid, I was again asked for my ss number.  I questioned why they didn't already have it if they called me.  No response and then a hang up.

Same as Maelan after picking up. Robo voice said same message, I pressed one, still hung up on me.

Same as above.  This is a SCAM.  Ask why their concern was not put in writing and the caller will hang up.  The interesting part is that number is a valid number to some SSA field office in Illinois.  Bottem line...Ask for info in Writting.  The FBI wants to know.
