The caller says they are from blue cross blue shield and need me to call back. It said on caller id it was integrity insurance. Scammers have been calling me since july day and night with numerous scams. Bc/bs checked this number for me and advised me not to call it back.

They are an insurance agent violating the do not call law.  It is interesting that they answer the phone "Blue Cross Blue Shield".  They would have you think you are calling Blue Cross in regards to your medicare supplement policy.  Until I pressed them they did not want to admit they were insurance agents.  This is a very deceptive way to market.  Not to mention illegal because they have violated the do not call law.  

Beyond violating the Do Not Call Registry law, if they are acting as agents (whether they admit it or not) who are employing illegal tactics to recruit clients, or are misrepresenting the policies they are selling, or if they claim to be agents and aren't, they are violating state insurance regulations. Contact your state insurance regulator.

Called 02/25/15 for my wife and "Eva" from Blue Cross Integrity left a message requesting that my wife call her back at 877-494-7606.   We get a lot of similar calls.  We don't answer calls from numbers we don't recognize. We always check the telephone numbers provided and never return the calls.

Integrity Insurance trying to get me to switch - didn't call them, so I won't be calling them back. Blocked the call.

Got a VM from Eva at Blue Cross Blue Shield - Integrity like the rest of them. Will not be returning it - even though I have BC/BS.

Call received claiming to represent Blue Cross Blue Shield and requested call back. Checked this site and did not call back.

They have called me several times about Blue Cross medicare insurance in spite of me telling them I didn't want to purchase it.

Same as the other reports, except said to call "Breanna, at Integrity Blue Cross / Blue Shield". I let go to voicemail and did not return after checking number here on this site. I enter all unwanted and repeat callers on my contacts list as BS Caller", so I can  easily recognize and ignore all future calls when they come in.

Same as the other reports. My contact was "Eva." I called them back and quickly realized it was a scam.

Scam insurance call on my answering machine claiming to represent Blue Cross / Blue Shield.  Did not return their call.

I don't know if they are supposed to be calling, but they are definitely not scammers.  I got a VM from them today ("Jade at Integrity representing Blue Cross & Blue Shield"), asking that I call her back at this number. Last year I had a question about a health care plan that was a joint offering between Advocate -- the largest hospital system in Illinois -- and Blue Cross.  Advocate said they would have someone from Blue Cross call me back to answer the question, and that call came from someone at Integrity Blue Cross (and she did NOT try to sell me anything or ask for ANY personal info, BTW).  Given that HCSC, the company that owns Blue Cross of Illinois, also owns the BCBS's in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Montana, I would bet these calls would go mostly to people in those states.  And if you have ever been insured by Blue Cross, maybe you (and I) unwittingly authorized their official agents to call.  All that said, I did not return their VM, but they are NOT scammers.

Another Insurance agent saying they are from Blue Cross. I am so sick of these calls and Blue Cross's lack of effort to have them stop, I am looking to change my insurance from Blue Cross. It is scary they let these people use their name.

Got a call from Integrity, Michelle Judge 866-451-1979 telling me about my plan and I am grandfathered in. Scam but had my info and what plan I am in. Didn't tell me to call back just sent me her card and a refg magnet. Somehow got my address & phone.

Katie from Integrity of Blue Cross Blue Shield left a message to call her back regarding my insurance. Did not call back, since I had made no calls to them and read this site first.

I believe it IS a scam.

A woman without a foreign accent and a very professional sounding voice/manner of speaking left the following voice mail: “Hello, my name is Marie. I work for Integrity, representing Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I need to speak with [husband's name]. Please return my call. My number is 877-494-7606. Thank you.” (Nice touch, stating your company’s name is “Integrity” so your victims might be more apt to trust you.)

I dealt with health insurance on a daily basis at my job, so I know there are numerous “third party administrators”, but in my experience BC/BS doesn’t typically use TPA’s so I suggested to my husband that he should not give out any personal information when he returned the call.

We’ve been busy, so he didn’t call back right away. I finally tried calling on his behalf, but the call would not go through. I then called BC/BS to ask them about this. The rep checked their affiliate listing and “Integrity” was not listed. (Big surprise.) Then I called the office that handles our retiree insurance, and they weren’t familiar with any company by that name either. While I was on the phone, the rep went to this website and entered the phone number. He found others have had a similar experience and advised me to ignore the call.
