I received an unsolicited call from this telephone number, much worse on my cell phone, on 05/18/2023 at 13:56 PDT. The number is not associated with a public name or business online, and the caller did not leave a message. This is characteristic of a robocaller and / or scam suspicion call in my experience the passed 8 years. Avoid, and thank you for reading.

Nope, it is not characteristic of a "robocaller".  When you don't know the meaning of a word or words you need to learn what a dictionary is and how to use one so that you don't look foolish and uneducated when you post.

Trolling much BigA? You're comment is of little value as you can't even elaborate nor contribute anything helpful to this forum. It is characteristic of both robocallers and telemarketers when you also factor in the calls do not have listed information about their origin. But I guess you missed that point, more so if you actually want people to take such calls.

Oh quit your bellyaching, all you did was post that you got a missed call and "guessed" about what it could be. A robocall is an automated telephone call which delivers a recorded message. If you got no message, then it was just a "characteristic" missed call. Seems to me you are the one trolling over being wrong and getting pointed out.
Missed calls could be from anyone.
Scammers, telemarketers, debt collectors, pranksters, surveys, notifications, alerts, wrong number, etc. Some use neighbor spoofing so it appears that an incoming call is coming from a local number, or spoof a number from a company or a government agency that you may already know and trust. If you answer, you can find out who it is or what they want. Just be aware some may use scam scripts to try to steal your money or valuable personal information, which can be used in fraudulent activity.

Alright MikeHuntleton. My name is Ron by the way, and I'll try to be respectable to the forum relate being bombarded by these types of calls 9 times out of 10 at home and on my cell phone, which may not be the norm for everyone here. Getting a better feel for this place and I'll curb my description appropriately. I was a caretaker for someone who failed to help someone avoid these calls and they lost everything. That got the better of me. By the numbers only.

As neutrally as I can convey, it'd really be best to let unknown calls like these go and await the voicemail, i possible, with assistance, especially for the elderly. My ward didn't know better and was accessed off my shift - I just think this is safe to advise in general.

Why are you so triggered about a missed call that you keep returning with dramatic responses? It's not like you know who it is or what it was about.   So you got a missed call and thought you would speculate with what you believed, someone pointed out it is not correct.  Get a grip and move on!
