B.S. Debt collector

i received same message. sounds scammish to me

Robert Smith won’t leave me alone and keeps calling.

Same thing over and over, Robert Smith with Weissenberg and Assoc.  Wants to avoid court.

This Robert Smith has been calling me and leaving me voicemails. I called him and he said that he was calling for a supposed card I allowed to go into collections back in 2005. Kinda scary he had my SS$ though. But he wanted me to give him a pmt. of $400 to avoid court and to give him my debit card info. I told him I wanted an email showing me official documentation. He told me yesterday he would send it and he never did. But he called ma again this morning and left another v/m. Definitely shady and don't trust this.

called me, sent me an email stating I had a credit card debt from 2004. called my spouse and my exec director's cell phone.  paperwork has misspellings, errors and other sketchy info.  Feels scammy but can't prove it yet

Robocall message. Calls all hours of the day, 3-4 times per day. Threatening Message: Will sue in court, wage garnishment etc. Message states to press" 1" to speak to someone. When you press "1" it rings but no one picks up; message states customer service is to busy or can't assist you at that moment. Something to that effect. When you call them, a person answers who claims to be busy and won't speak to you because they are in a meeting. They hung up on me when I requested they send me everything in writing. He then called me back moments later said he now had time for me. He also said he wanted to understand why I had been referred to his office and needed to gather facts. He said this was stemming from a Bank of America account from 201I that had significant overdraft fees. I remained silent as he provided additional info, I would not give the slightest hint that any info he was spilling out was true or not. I didn't want to give them any wiggle room. When he was done again I requested that any communications be sent to me in writing.  He said,  "we will see you in court" and hung up. This company calls at al hours of the day with the same recorded message. They never answer when you press "1". This is a bunch of bull**!! Don't fall for it and don't provide them with any information.

Give your state attorney general's office a call & www.consumerfinance.gov .  Block them if possible.

The message I received doesn’t say what my past due account is or even give a name of a company or person. It is a female voice though. My message said, “Sorry we missed you this question inform you that your past due account has been forwarded to our office for immediate action and it is very important that we speak with you to pay more information in regards to this matter you must contact our office within 48 hours before decision is made without your consent thank you for your prompt response.”

This guy keeps calling from this phone number saying it's a debt and that hes gonna take us to court and hes asking for a Pacific person that doesn't even have this phone number and I tell him that it's not him it's I'm a girl and he keeps insisting that I and that I take care of this situation and I don't even know what hes talking about he doesn't tell me what it is he doesn't tell me what company is from he just tells me his a debt I want them to stop calling my number at all random hours it's ridiculous that they can get away with stuff like this and we don't even know who they are

Debts expire.?Wow! I never knew that!
