i did bot receive a call from these people. but i received some [***] letter in the mail satting that i owned a 2004 chevy that i don't own. lol the letter stated that my warranties on the vehicle were about to expire. its a scam from 100 mall parkway in st. louis, MO 63385. dont give this company your VIN or social.

I got a similar letter about my 2007 BMW saying something about my warranty being about to expire. Not even close. I assumed it was a scam. The address in the letter was also listed as 100 Mall Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63385.

I get repeated phone calls on my answering machine (some, I think are for my wife's Subaru and some for my BMW).  Did get a letter re my 2007 BMW noting that that is what I own and the warranty was expiring (I guess I was supposed to forget that the car has 3 1/2 years of warranty left).  Anyway, the letter head has: 1)"BMW Notification" 2) a picture that looks exactly like my black 328xi; and finally a return address of: Dealer Services, 100 Mall Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63385.  Guess BMW has moved.  Net, Net sure seems like a scam, but clearly they have taken the trouble to purchase or hack some info from Motor Vehicles records.  Oh, one final thing, the admonition to make sure when you call you have your VIN is a real tip off.  When I give my BMW dealer my name, he knows my VIN.
