called my work saying they were serving me with papers

Called and left a message..same song and dance of someone will serve you blah blah blah.  looks like they are using a new number since there isn't much on this thread.

One--no one will call to tell you that will serve you papers. Two--Its all shady NO business answers without giving their name and company name first. Three-- this number belongs to a JAMES ANDERSON--supposedly a PARALEGAL and we are calling his PRIVATE CELL. So feel free to call him back and HANG UP. I bet he gets a dollar for every call he answers.
Also--he wont give you any info and seems taken back that you call him. Sooo...... with that in mind. Hes a scammer that isnt happy with his job. Enjoy fellow members that are getting harassed.... call him at 877-525-0173...he does refer to himself as a DIRT BAG. Use that nickname with love when you call him.

I just received a voice mail from "Alan Foster" from this phone # also. It's the same as earlier posts--they called my work #, left a voicemail stating that they have legal papers with a delivery date of Monday with a bogus case # and this phone # 1-877-525-0173 to call to speak to the filing party directly. This seems to happen every year at least once or twice before they give up. The phone # may be different but the scam is the same.

reported the number with a complaint to attorney generals website.  really strange how they NEVER show up when they say they will?  seems they call about once a month...so irritating!!

Yep-- all a scam that are more interested in 'scaring' you then 'helping' themselves getting your money. Odd set up

Yes same scam. When you confront them that you know they are being illegal in their tactics they get all ugly --like we are in fact embarrassing them. I say call the number often and hang up ---share the frustration....

Just got a call/unknow # and then left meesage stating his name was Scot Weaver and that he had a pkg to deliver to me on Monday between 12 to 2pm and have proper ID. He left a number for me to call 877/525/0173 with a case # , but no Company name and when calling the # you get a male voice saying sorry missed your call. What a SCAM!!!!! So sick of these calls. Wish someone could do something about them!!!!
