These people call you, claiming that you've won a contest and then sneak in a phrase about buying magazines. Don't fall for it. They get your bank account information and then bill you without sending you any of the mentioned paper articles and then when you try to cancel, either there's a busy signal, a representative from another company picks up, or you get an automated voice service that leads you through dead ends without actually talking to anybody.

They claimed that the time to cancel was first 3 days, then 7 days, then 10, then 13, then 30, depending on who I talked to. All in all, they couldn't keep their story straight and continued to try to sell me magazines at a lower price, after a month had gone by and I was still unable to cancel the service.

Also, they illegally gave my private information away without asking for my permission and threatened that my credit score would go down if I do not pay them. The company that they gave my information to was also a scam, where if you put in your information on a website to receive discounts for various things, they would bill you for that as well.

Luckily, I didn't sign any of the paper forms they sent to me in the mail, so they don't have my signature. I'm glad that I looked up the company they claimed to be, as they're a scam, trying to force you into giving them you're money under circumstances that make no sense and changed, again, depending on who you talked to.

Now, they call several times during the day, claiming that they've received complaints about customers in the area who are getting phone calls from other magazine companies and that they aren't trying to sell anything, at the moment. Talking to these people is like conversing with a parrot that only knows so many phrases, as they repeat themselves constantly, or claim that they'll get the manager, who apparently is the only authoritative person there.

If you get a call from this company, just hang up--they're pretty good at finding ways of sneaking a magazine subscription into the conversation in a way that makes you shrug your shoulders and say "Hey, 30 bucks for 5 magazines? Not bad."

    It's not worth it.

Claimed to be a company hired by my financial institution and that I had fraudulent hits on my account. Unfortunately I verified the info. After I hung up I realized it was probably a collection agency trying to find me.

I received a voicemail from Patricia saying my acct had been compromised. The original number the call came from does not reflect a business number. I will never answer.

Recieved a call from a female saying there were fraudulent activities that were flagged on your credit. You can verify us with the phone # [877] 525-4388 with your financial institution. I called my financial institution and this number has NOTHING to do with them [Can You Spell FRAUD]. The phone # the person called from was [770] 213-1121 and this was their 2nd attempt as I was contacted exactly 14 days ago on 8/30/22 by same person. This number is now BLOCKED đźš«

Called and left Vm to say I qualified for 50% off my Spectrum bill. Yeah, right. Scam to get information is more likely. I never called back and blocked number.
