    I have used online finance calculators for years and have never, ever had to input a phone number to get the information I needed.  So, how is it that you found this one?  Edit:  I put the words "online finance calculator" into both Yahoo and Google and went through 3 pages of results on both search engines and neither one came up with "Loan Depot".  Makes me wonder about your post.

    I just did the same and even clicked through a few to see if any of them required a phone number. None of them did.
    I think that person is just speculating and more than likely it is coincidental or they left out some details about the site they visited.

    I would be willing to bet that they went to that site directly.  I can't get to that site because it seems to down right now.

    OK, well I tried Opera and Firefox, couldn't connect and then checked it on Is it everyone or just me and they told me it was down.  Knowing that, it sounds like this person may have been rejected for a loan and is upset so it is posting false information.

    More than likely that seems to be the case, as I found this at the bottom of one of the form pages:

    I got a call from this number asking me to to push one to speak to a representative for delivery. I thought it was a company that's delivering a product I'm expecting. I push one the phone started ringing and no one ever answered. I do not want calls from this number I read it was loan company.
