This number called with a scam about a "civil complaint" trying to get me to call back with a case number. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. THIS IS A SCAM CALL.

You will never get phone calls about civil complaints. These people are trying to steal your money.

This company, S.A. & Associates, left a voicemail about "a pending legal matter".  Like the poster above said, you will not get a call about a civil complaint.  AVOID.  THIS IS A SCAM.

State that I owe and that they mailed me out a letter about this I never receive a letter. They also said that this is a civil complaint that came to their office.

This number Called in a threatening manner about a civil complaint and that I had to pay right away. When my husband got on the phone the man got irate and super unprofessional threatening and insulting him then hung up and sarcastically told us to have a blessed day

Received a voice mail from this number and there was a text message with the voice mail. The spelling in it was horrible. I know this is a scam as I had to deal with another one a few weeks ago.

Case Managers: Preston Reed/Mark Adams from S&A Assoc. regarding bail bonds amount due.

Said there was a Harris county law suit. They mailed 2 letters to 2 different addresses, 1 I didnt know one address.

Someone called and they called from a 678 number saying that they have some kind of document and they wanted me to call back they were going to file a complaint against me and they gave me some kind of number was my account number I don't know I have a clue who it was they never gave the business name. They left the phone number on my voicemail.

SCAM! First off, they called and left a message WITHOUT using my legal name. Secondly, they’re calling on “behalf” of a civil complaint from a city I never lived in. Also, they’re stating the complaint was filed in my current location. Yeah… it makes “sense” that a lawyer’s office calling from Miami is threatening me from thousands of miles away.

They called from " S & A associates ," re civil matter left a file # about my ex husband's, deceased father's 2/3 rd wife. Used her name. I have gotten repeated calls through the years as I haven't changed my last name post divorce and my ex prob shows up as having lives at this address with my Lan line # . I believe the lady has had some trouble in the past financially but I only ever met her once at my wedding. Therefore I wondered if this call was a scam or legit debt collector

I can't find a company by that name that does debt collection.  From the little that you posted about the message it sounds like one of the "we are gonna sue you" extortionist outfits.
