Just called and didn't hang up the phone quick enough when my voicemail kicked in.  From the background noise it's clearly a busy call center with a bunch of people all making calls at the same time.  Couldn't tell what they were trying to sell though.

Received a call asking who handles the marketing of Thompson Reuters for our Firm.  

Showed as "unknown" in caller is. Dud not leave any message

They called.  I picked up.  It was quiet.  I said "Hello???"  No one responded, so I hung up.  This is a private residence, not a doctor's office.  Today is Saturday and we are home, so it was not likely a business call.  I'd say they are scammers, telemarketers or ??????   I am on the national do not call list. It helped a little to decrease the number of calls I get, but when I make an online purchase I always wonder where my information goes.  The calls from these companies usually correspond with my making a purchase online.  

I also own software from Thompson Reuters "Ultra Tax and Write up Solution". You got my attention now. Why would they sell my cell number to tele marketers

They got your number from Manta...just like they got my cell phone number from Manta. During tax season I was getting calls on my personal cell phone from old clients that were trying to locate me again and they found my cell on Manta.

We received a call from this number and they said they were calling from Thompson Reuters.  I have been trying to call back all day and am only getting a busy signal

this number called my phone on various days and various times, some with no voice and end, but some with a person talking but end also. when re-dial back, never ring then end.

I believe that's who it is. Thompson Reuters sells legal publications and software, and they call my law firm several times a week, even though I tell them not to call. Really annoying.

Claims they are doing business with certain companies.  When advised they would have their number or email then, they hang up.

Just called, no message.  No idea who it is.  99.9% a telemarker.

Answered the phone at our office and listened to two women talk about their "sparkly shoes" for over a minute.  They were so caught up with these shoes they never heard me answer the phone.  Definite call center!  I just wanted to see how long it would take for her to realize I was on the line - never happened.

The keep calling and leave messages of them talking in the background. Have no idea who these idiots are.

This number just called my office and it was a foreign man asking to speak to a manager. While on his call, I get another call from this same number! So I put him on hold and answered it. This time its a lady asking for a manager regarding Thompson Reuters. I guess my company was in cue to be called or something. I just hung up on both calls and neither called back.

Got another call from this number while I was on the phone with this number AGAIN! These people are IDIOTS! One lady said she was from Thompson Rueters and the other said another company that I didnt catch and they both wanted to speak to managers. I hung up on both of them and neither called back.

Called, left brief message...just said "Hello" then hung up. I get at least 1 call a week from them

Lady called asking for an executive. I asked what the call was regarding and she says "I am calling... um... let me see... oh!... on behalf of Thompson Reuters (completley screwed the name up)... oh! and also on behalf of Jason Sims... the account manager...". The lady clearly had no idea why she was even calling. It was so ridiculously scripted I laughed and transfered her to junk voicemail.
