There was a charge on my credit card for 14.95 from Shopping Essentials.  After I called the number, they admitted that they received my credit card information from Vista Print.

I called Vista Print at 1-800-961-2075 and they apologized and said that I had signed up for this service.  I do not remember clicking anything but the gauntlet of extras you have to go through to reach your check-out cart is ridiculous and filled with all sorts of extras.

At the very least, their business practices are dubious and I think a good lawyer should be able to put together a class action suit against Vista Print.

A month ago,I ordered/recieved business cards that I thought were "Free-Pay Shipping ONLY" OMG!!!!!   I just opened my bank statement and I had not ONE charge for $14.95 from Vista Print, but ANOTHER charge for $14.95 from Shopping Essentials, (from which I've NEVER done business), but have learned that THEY are a "Part" of Vista Print or affiliated with: These Business cards are NOT "FREE". I was ok paying $6.95 shipping, but WHAT are these monthly charges I am getting NOW? I was never told of any membership or monthly "fees", or extra costs being added later.. they just get your bank info, and start vacuuming money out of your account, and pass this info on to other "affilliated" companies, so they too can get your money. DO NOT DO Business with these people, they are a SCAM!!! I thought I was getting a "good deal" on the cards, so I told several friends, co-workers and family about "how to get cheap business cards" (prior to learning it is a scam) but now they will ALL be e-mailed not to buy anything from them as well. So that is "potential" business that they have lost on their stupidity. So much for "thinking" you are getting a good deal, only to find out later, it is all BS. I'm furious right now, but wait til I call thier customer service first thing in the AM. No refund, I will be calling the BBB as well. It is just SO wrong (illegal?)to do this to people, linking you up to other "services" without your consent, and charging money for something you didn't order.

VistaPrint actually signed me up with two mysterious memberships I am totally unware of! TWO! one is Max Shopping, the other is something Central, each cost me $14.95.

When I called them, they didn't seem surprised at all. They're probably inundated by angry callers to cancel the membership. What a scam! I want to report it to BBB and consumer report and shut them down!

this was the description after a charge that shouldnt have been there, but I did agree to be a member of the vista print "club" and actually emailed them just after i received my order and said i wanted to cancel the membership, and received confirmation of the cancellation.  after still receiving the charge, 10 days after the confirmation of cancellation, I called unhappily and they said a refund was processing.  so, just about a SCAM, so thanks to this site I figured out quickly where to go for the refund!  thanks!

I also have been ripped off 3 times by this company! Three charges of $14.95!!! I was shocked. I called the number and had them cancel the supposed membership I'd signed up for. No idea I even had it. I was told by Eric, that was the guy I talked to, that my three charges would be refunded. We'll see if it actually happens. I've gotten a new card since this and am waiting to see a change in my bank statement. Warn everyone you know! A major scam here, I can't believe they do this!!!
