Called saying they had tried unsuccessfully to serve a summons and gave a case number and a name of Johnathan Beck to call as a case worker. Got indignant when I asked for more information. No attempt was made to serve summons and it is obviously a scam

"process server" looking to deliver "legal documents" said to call this number. judging by the other comments it's clear it's a scam

Same as above.  She stated she was a process server, they tried to serve papers on me I have to call this number and give them the case file she gave me. Pretty clear it's a scam....

Yep! Real process servers don't call in advance.
