Here is what they said: "Vivid Ink and Toner, a national discount office supply company, regarding their promotions week."
They seem to be located at 9120 OWENSMOUTH AVE, CHATSWORTH CA 91311.  Boss man: CARTER ERICKSON.
This company used to be called Green Tech Imaging (also run by CARTER ERICKSON) and was ALSO operated as Allstate Imaging (here's a surprise: also run by CARTER ERICKSON but right around the corner at 21621 NORDHOFF ST, Chatsworth, California).

Some mighty bad stuff said about all of them:

    1. From ScamInformer dot com:
On Jan 13, 2011 Jessica from Green Tech Imaging cold called our office, wanting to know what printers we use so that she can save us a lot of money.

When I asked for a website she said it was down.
When I asked for a contact phone number she gave me 888-875-2437.
She was friendly, but rather persistent about getting the printer information from me (I never gave it to her and don't plan on it); I told her it wasn't in front of me and I couldn't go look for that information right now.
She asked if she could call back tomorrow after I looked at the printer, I told her "Sure!" I checked the website[ ] and she's right, it's down - there's no contact information or information about the company at all. I called the phone number and it was answered by an automated operator, but without stating the company name.
I pressed 4 to speak to an operator and the first thing I asked the operator that answered my call was "Where is your company located?" She answered "California." I asked, "Where in California?" She answered, "Chatsworth."

Nothing I can find online indicates that this business exists beyond their questionable website: no map listing, no BBB listing, no reviews, no complaints, no nothing.

On Jan 14, 2011 Jessica called me back and I was able to get the company's address: Green Tech Imaging is located at 9120 Owensmouth Ave, Los Angeles, CA 91311. When you look it up on a map, you find that it's located less than 400 feet away from Allstate Imaging Incorporated (aka Allstate Imagining), which can be found at 21621 Nordhoff St Chatsworth, CA, 91311-5825. If you look up reviews and complaints regarding Allstate Imagining Incorporated, there's not a lot of positive feedback regarding their business practices, including a lot of information regarding them here on the Ripoff Report website.

    On a hunch...

    I looked up Allstate Imaging's website [ ].

Then I looked up Green Tech's website again [ ].

(Take a moment and compare those two websites - it's very interesting.)

I then had another hunch and called Allstate Imaging and asked for Jessica. The girl who answered the phone asked me why and I told her that Jessica and I had been talking about office supplies, as a matter of fact we had talked only about an hour ago. She said that she'd be able to take a message for Jessica to call me back, so I left my name and number, which they already have anyway.

So, now I'm waiting for Jessica from Green Tech Imaging (a "brand new company" according to Jessica) to call me back after I left a message for her with someone from Allstate Imaging.

30 minutes later:I received a phone call from Jessica from Green Tech Imaging about 30 minutes after leaving her a message at Allstate Imaging to give me a call. I even asked her if she and I had spoken only an hour and a half before, just to make sure I had the same Jessica, and she confirmed that for me too. This confirmed my belief that Green Tech Imaging and Allstate Imaging are indeed the same company. If an unknown company cold calls your office and immediately wants to know what specific office equipment you use, be careful, do not tell them anything, and get as much contact information you can from them. The minute you tell them what type of printer you use, or what type of fax machine you use, there will be unsolicited merchandise showing up at your door, with the expectation that you will pay for their overpriced goods, as well as their ridiculously priced shipping fees.

    2.  From Yelp dot com:
wow, how can i explain.  i am business owner and open to saving money, so i choose to give them a try.  telemarketing ploy.  was told i would be given 30 days to try.  but since i was out of town, was only told i could get more.  long story short, i was given 10 days and by the time i could get around to it i was already in collections.  i didn't even open to box to look at inside.

called them 4 various times to talk with them but kept getting transferred to a guy named john who wasn't there and left messages in voicemail.  everyone was saying i need to talk to him about it.  my account is only available and open through him?  something about my account information is locked and can't be seen by any other employees. so finally talked with a guy named john.  wow... totally not nice.  toner price they wanted was about 250.  said he would discount the collections amount to 150?  dude, you can get a real OEM toner for 140 at staples?  now, most people would know. if you have staples rewards you don't ever pay full retail.  i hope that everyone knows that.  why would i pay more for a re-manufactured toner?

so, sticking to facts... total waste of time dealing with these people. please don't pay more then OEM for a promised better product that is used. it is a ploy.  now that i have to pay for the shipping back... i have to go out of my way to write up bad reviews on them so that other people can learn from my mistake and time lost. the attitude the guy had was just unprofessional. will not do business with anyone like that. even if the product was good. just not worth my time or stress.

as a side note... i use my laser printer to print checks.  most (i have not used all) smear.  i think it has to do with the different ink type inside.  i can't have the ink on my checks smearing.  i have tried refilled toners about 4 times already.  no good. just go find good price on new toner OEM. i am not saying pay full price. but if you can get a simple deal on it, it will save you so much time. just make sure it is new and sealed.  you won't every waste any time.

Infinity Printing (AKA Allstate Imaging, Green Tech Imagin) Allstate Imaging, Greentech Imaging This company is affiliated with several other office supply/ink scam companies. They cold called the office, offered ink & now refuse to acknowledge that we do not want any further ink from them! Internet

Infinity Printing cold called our office. Unfortunately our Admin answered it and did not suspect that this company was shady. They asked her what type of printer we used.  She told them and they offered cheap ink and a ridiculously high priced promotional package. She was told that the ink would last a long time and was a big supply.   She sadly said that she was authorized to make decisions on office supplies (even though she is NOT).  She was NEVER informed that she was being recorded.... The company sent us ink and 5 separate invoices for ink (that all came in one box) we ended up paying them THOUSANDS for ink.  When the final invoice was paid, lo and behold here came another box of ink.  They now wanted to start a whole new cycle of invoices.   I as the owner of the company intervened and said absolutely not-----I called Infinity and said that we would be returning the ink.  I made them aware that the Admin is NOT an authorized decision maker at our company.  I was kind to have paid the initial set of invoices associated to the 1st box but I was not going to allow them to keep us in some contractual ink refill program. I should have sent the 1st box back to begin with because now this 2nd box is something that they are trying to collect thousands of dollars on.  They said that I could not return the ink and that I could get a discount.  I refused the discount.  They offered to exchange ink for other supplies.  I refused that also and said that all of the new ink shipment would be returned to them and I would not pay any further invoices. I had already paid for the 1st shipment in full and would not agree to keep any more ink.  They refused to agree to this and said a manager would be calling me back.  5 days later a manger (Shawn Matthews) called when I was out of the office--he told the Admin that if we didn't call back the same day we would be turned into collections.  I called him back the same day and he was unavailable. Go figure. Still sending back the 2nd box. I refuse to keep it and am tracking it through Fedex. So upon looking into the correct address to send all of the ink back to (because they would not tell me what it was on the phone)  I realized that they have a PO Box listed on the enclosed packing slips-this was a red flag.  So then I looked at the box that they shipped and it states this address: 9120 Owensmouth Ave, Chatsworth CA 91311.  This is the same address that is linked to Green Tech Imaging & Allstate Imaging which are also ink/supply scam companies! So they basically form different company names to throw people off.  Infinity is the newest under the umbrella.  Look up Greentech Imaging and see the rip off reviews listed. Do the same for Allstate Imaging.  The name "Shawn" appears in another report nder Greentech. Coincendence--no, this same guy works for all 3 of these companies... Check out: http://www.allstateimaging.com , http://infinityprintingsupplies.com , http://greentechimaging.com -- they are all formatted identical to each other.  The Environment page is word for word the same.  Stay away from all 3 of these companies--there may be more affiliated to the same address! Lesson learned--train all phone answering personnel to be aware of these scams.  The 1st set of ink that they sent us was cheap ink that has already run out 6 weeks later!!! And we paid triple the price for it--Xerox sells it for less as do many other reputable suppliers!  Train staff to hang up on anyone that calls the office and tries to sell ink--always buy ink from the manufacturer of the printer or from Quill and legit supply companies. This company over inflates the price of ink, they send cheap ink that doesn't last and they try to strong arm you when you figure out the scam.  Stay AWAY and spread the word.  I did this review because Infinity isn't listed on Rip Off report yet and needs to be.  I'm sure a new company is about to be formed that is all connected and will ship out of that same address now that this report is being filed..
