I would like to find out too, seems like another bogus payday loan collection scam since it is around tax refund time. I'm not calling back to verify my personal information which they usually ask for. If they were legit, they could look up my credit report, find out where I live and send me a letter in the mail. So, this number can go suck it.

Refused to send anything in writing showing that who and what we owe.  What reputable credit agency refuses to send a bill when told it will be paid in full as soon as it is received?

Called my cell lm saying tracing tracking looking for me and by law can contact any contacts listed? Also lm at parents number again no company name or any other info? White pages reverse lookup has it listed as scam or fraud.  Ironically all calls and reports started today.  That seems a little fishy.  Reporting to appropriate authorities.

You are exactly right, after contacting you they are required by law to send a letter in the mail within 10 days. An email with a PDF is not valid, it must be through US Mail. This is a scam, do not contact them, advise all family members you might of used as a reference at some point and let them know this is a scam. Do not feel embarrassed from what this company is saying, that is what they are trying to do, scare you into thinking you owe some bogus debt.

Caller stated that are looking for a family member of mine.  Stated that they could not talk to me due to federal laws.  I told them to take my name and number off their list.  He asked why?  I told him because if he couldn't tell me the issue then don't call my number.  I think this is a scam.  BEWARE!  He was very rude.

They never say who they are, just that they are attempting to "track" me whereabouts and that if I don't contact them they are "legally allowed to contact all references on file". Idk who they are or why they would need to "track" me. I have no outstanding debt that would require anyone to track me like that.

At first received a robo call  so I called back  person answering said the company is B.I.G. Collecting for Paragon payday loan from 2011. A $350 loan turned into $710.  Said no not me asked to received written info. He refused saying next contact will be court. good luck in court he said. Bogus collection they are supposed to mail if requested.

Got a robo message that they are contacting me regarding a loan with Chase Bank DBA Vista Holdings.  Told them I had never had any accounts with Chase Bank I was rudely told that they will regard me as "refusal to pay" and "do it your way"  I looked up the number on line and found this page so I called them back and told them what I have found and they told me "don't f-ing believe everything you read online".  I'm sure if this was legit Chase bank wouldn't have reps like this doing business for them.

Just got a call from them. They were asking for the location of someone who I've never even heard of before and said if I didn't call back and comply they would be forced to contact other "references". Lmao. Obvious scam.

Received a call about 10 minutes ago, that stated my name and that they were looking for me and would contact kin if they could not get a hold of me, I have been receiving lots of scamming phone numbers in the last year......

Have now received 2 calls from this number, does not wait for answering machine before leaving message, so I don't know how or what they are, or why they're calling, just that "the law allows them to contact references". References for what? If it's that job I applied for, this is a rather unprofessional way of handling this.
If it's what I'm reading here, then I have nothing to worry about. I have never owed any debt, period.

Got a call from this number yesterday saying the same thing as others. trying to track me, but when they say my name its a robot. Then today I got a call from 877-629-6193 with the same exact message.

Plus, most likely beyond the status of limitations in your state. Throw that in their face and see what they say.
