A person named Brandon Mason called my parents looking for me. I don't know this person or have any business with him. He wouldn't give any info and just waned my number.

Probably a criminal debt collector calling everyone but you in order to create panic and scare you into paying their extortion money.
This is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  One of the tricks they use is to call your work place repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying.  They also use the “process server” who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Olivia Morgan from Provisional Risk Service for the State of California called say that she had 2 collections filed with the Los Angeles County Clerks office and that I should call back at 877-595-7083 with my case number.
How do I get them to stop calling?

Jennifer Alex called my job, saying I had a legal case against me. They called from
# 310-282-7540, asking me to call back at
# 877-595-7083. I called back the 310# and they answered Arbitration Department,  I asked for Jennifer they transferred me to her, and her first question was what is the last 4 of my Social Security number. I don't give out no info that requires my personal information.  If you are going to arrest me, then come do it. This is not the first time,  someone has tried this and I am not falling for this. I've received nothing by mail claiming a lawsuit, until then the BS calls need to stop. These people need to get a real job. It's funny because the lady that answered said her name was Kim, but when Jennifer  picked up her voice sounded just like Kim.

Mary Flint claiming to be from Provisional Risk Services for the state of Pennsylvania.  She had called earlier in the week and I didn't return the call.  I checked the internet and saw that others had received similar calls.  She just called again today and said that since I didn't return the call that she had no choice but to proceed with the allegations against me.  I called the number back and she was the one who answered the phone.  I told her that I had checked on her company and that I was aware that it was a scam and that she had no right to say that she was going to track me down at my home or work.  I told her that was illegal and she said that she was not threatening me.  I said even if she said it nicely, it's still a threat.  She wanted me to confirm my SS# and address, I said I wouldn't give her anything.  I said that she needed to contact me in writing with all the particulars, she said that they had but I told her she was full of it because I received nothing.  I told her that I had already filed a complaint with the state attorney's office, the better business bureau and federal trade commission.  She hung up the phone then. BTW, when you call them back, it doesn't even identify who the company is or anything.  Thank God for sites like this so that people can share information about scammers like this.

I kept getting calls regarding supposedly 2 allegations.  I blocked the calls from my cell & home phone.  These punks had the audacity to call my job and my boss gave me the message.  They tried to scare me into paying some money.  I phoned an attorney and he gave them a call.  He tried to get information from them and they hung up. It is a scam.  I just told them to proceed with whatever they what to. God is in control.  BTW, I actually paid $$ a couple of times but no more.

Thanks for the information.  I am just going to ignore these fools. I keep getting the calls but maybe they will get tired of calling me.

If you paid them before, they have an "easy marks" list that they sell to other criminal debt collectors.  Sorry to be blunt, but that is the truth.  Never ever pay a DC until they validate the debt in writing by US mail, as you read in my previous post.  Also if you have any information on them, make sure you report it at the provided links.  It will help to put them out of business.

I got the same call about 15 minutes ago. Its a scam.

This same caller is calling my daughter looking for me. It's a payday loan scam!
