They claim I have commited Fraud to a banking institution I never had an account with. This sounds like identity theft or some other Scam. I have never done any fraudulany Activity.

Debt collection scam.  Bank fraud is a crime.  If you were suspected of committing this sort of crime you would have been interviwoied on a face-to-face basis by law enforcement.  You would NOT have heard about this from some scammery-scummery debt collector who cold calls you and demands money.  Ignore their calls and block them.

ID themselves as BRG Group.  No idea where they are located.  Ignore and block their calls.  Scam operation.

I have twice received automated calls from this phone number that I was concerned were suspect.  Thank you CWG40 and Another Concerned Credit Consumer for explaining things.  I will continue to ignore these calls.

This is a bill collection scam.  What they do is dig up the address of someone who may have in the past had some credit difficulties, cross-ref the address to a telephone number, then repeatedly call hoping they'll get lucky and someone will be stupid enough to fall for the scam.

I received a call from this number earlier today. I was about to answer it but didn't get to it in enough time. They left a voicemail stating the message is for an ex boyfriend which has no association or should not be associated with my new phone number. They referenced a claim number then hang up. I called back to get my name taken off of whatever claim my ex has but got a voicemail to extension 311.

I have had he same calls the past few days... Total scam!  They call again, tell them to send you documents in the mail to prove they are who they say they are.  Guarantee you won't see anything!
