SCAM text messaging alert.  Tell you your ATM card has been suspended and to reactivate to call.  I called my bank, directly, and no such notice had been issued.  This is a scam, watch out!

I got the same text message!  I didn't call my bank, but it reeks of SCAM!

CDC FCU DEBIT CARD PHISHING SCAM
Recently, there have been fraudulent phone scams directed to CDC Federal Credit Union members and non‐members. This message falsely asks members to verify account information due to a debit card cancellation. When responding by phone, the computer‐operated system will ask for your personal 16‐digit debit card information. The purpose appears to be an attempt to withdraw funds from members’ accounts.
Please know that CDC Federal Credit Union will not call you and request personal information by phone. CDC Federal Credit Union will never call to ask you for your account number(s) or debit card information. If you feel your information has been compromised, please call the credit union immediately at 404‐325‐3270, option 3. You can also send an email to marketing@cdcfcu.com to report any future suspicious attempts made to your personal financial accounts. You can also report phishing by forwarding suspicious email to reportphishing@antiphishing.com or spam@uce.gov. Phishing incidents should be reported to the legitimate company in question.
