- Malcolm Brackett| 4 repliesWho owns this number ? I have credit card charge and have not heard of the company
- larryEveryday Privileges Gold is using this number. They sent me a letter saying
they were going to charge my credit card a membership fee. I never heard of
the and am certainly not a member. - Bev| 2 repliesI too received a charge to my credit card for $15.99 on 9/29/09. Never heard of the company TLG (Trilegiant). Neither have I heard of 'Everyday Privileges Gold'.
- thomas replies to Bevcall your credit card company and dispute the charge.
- KC| 1 replyWe received two charges from this company listed as "TLG Everyday" on our statement. They did two charges for $15.99 each. They said that we responded to some offer from another company called West Direct and it was for a $60 WalMart gift card. We did no such thing. They did 'cancel the subscription' and they are refunding the money. I read that others had a hard time getting that much.

- VinceI check my bank on line this morning and had a charge of 159.99. went right to the bank and they fixed and ard issueing me a new card. chek you accounts very often. I learned a good lesson. These people are crooks.
- RKOI checked my credit card statement to find a $159.99 charge for membership fee for Everyday Value. When I called and was placed on hold for 15 minutes then finally spoke to a real person, I was told that the membership was triggered by cashing a $8.25 check that was sent to my husband. Obviously, we didn't read the fine print that came with that check but was assured that the membership would be cancelled and that the entire amount of $159.99 would be credited back to my credit card account.
- JohnI found a charge from Everyday Privilige Gold d/b/a Everyday Value by chance on my Amex card for $159.99. Never heard of them and not sure how they got me. Will ask Amex to dispute and call to cancel any unwanted membership is some buyer's club scheme.

this company charges people for nothing!- Caller: TLG Everyday
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- NeilThis company preys on the elderly and inexperienced individuals. Going to call grandma's card company to dispute the charges. Absolutely Ridiculous! All she was trying to do was refill a scrip for Medco and was hooked by the wal-mart gift card and a gas card.
- HaifangThey didn't even make me a phone call before charging me!
- maryis there a jack nelson working at this number ?
- agathaToday I tried to call my credit card company customer service # on the back of the card and was connected with this outfit, how I don't know. Is it possible for them to hack into credit card co service #'s and divert the calls. Naturally, even though the guy had an Indian accent I thought I was talking to my credit card company and gave my card# name adress and phone. the person started talking about the Walmart card and $50.00 gas card, all I had to do was pay a $2.00 fee. they would pass me to the next verification person and I would have to repeat my credit card info. Finally, I smell a scam and refuse any charges or rewards. I got mad and asked who they were and the guy answers "Everyday Shoppers" with this phone number located in Arizona. I hung up, they called me back because stupid me gave my phone # too. Sounds like other reports you are getting. I immediately recalled my real credit card outfit and cancelled my card and reported this fraud. Went over the list of my charges and a 1.00 hold charge showed up from Florida. The rep said I would not be responsible.

- Alesia| 2 repliesive been charged three or four different times by this co. My boyfriend called twice to see why these ppl were taking money and to cancle whatever "membership" we had... I was still charged twice after that and now will lose my apt. & I have a three year old son. Unless i can borrow this money we are out. i dont know how but these ppl have to be stoped, its ridiculous!
- Caller: TLG, everyday privileges
- anonymous replies to Alesia| 1 replyHow this scam works is you'd accepted a freebie sometime in past ($10 coupon, gas or shopping card, etc.) and buried in the fine print is authorization to charge your card with negative-option subscriptions for weird services (negative-option means they keep charging every billing cycle until you cancel the subscription and sometimes the scammers make it very difficult to cancel). The law says this is legal, I say it's a scam because consumers cannot be expected to read the fine print when they're receiving a gift. Tell your bank this is fraud and demand they refund *all* the charges. Do not use the word "dispute" because your bank will tell you to work it out with the charging party and you know that's hopeless. Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG. Best wishes to you.
