Got a call from a Christa at this number. She called my niece who has an unlisted number and told me she got it from some type of trace. Says she is collecting for cash yes?  My personal info and bank acct was compromised a few years ago and every few months I get these threatening calls. I found out that if you are on the internet these places can use phishing and jump on your info, set up loans, and by the time you realize, they have taken hundreds of dollars out of your acct. These companies buy and sell these so called debts, call you at work, harass your friends and family, and threaten you with legal repercussion. At first, I did everything I was legally advised to and the calls stopped, but because these scumbags are out there buying and selling your info it never stops. What can you do?

Crazy saying they are from my financial institution - calling family members.  Reported them to the fraud division of the FBI.  No company name.

Yes. They said they were calling from my financial institution also.
