- KonyaHarassing my relatives. These people need to be stopped. They are threatening wont give u any information other than u owe money. Called a relative I have no contact with and said I owed money for arbitration. A real lawyer or agency would never give any info. By law they can't they can only ask where your located and a number. SCAMMER.
- Lonnie| 1 replyreceived a threatening call regarding a relative from 877 630 6409. When I called back to find out what this was about, they were nasty to me and would not tell me anything other than confirming it had something to do with my brother and if he didn't provide some sort of documentation "it would be all over". I told him not to ever call that number again, but then he asked for the number (which I of course refused to give him) and became very nasty. I asked how they got the number and was told when they couldn't reach the person they wanted they started calling relatives and it seemed he had about 5 alternate numbers in our state on his list. (my brother lives in another state about 1400 miles from the rest of the family).
- Katithese people are idiots! rude and nasty. first of all, calling my cell phone harassing me regarding one of my relatives definitely wont get you anywhere. I told the guy (Tony Attia) that he sounds like a scammer and he laughed and continued being an [***]!! These people are scammers, do not give them any information!!

- BC| 3 repliesCalled my home number looking for my uncle.... Same info as noted by others.... We have his SSN# etc., and I'm thinking "then why do you need me?" Then, later they called back and asked for ME by name in reference to my uncle... Don't plan to call them back..... Man gave his name as "Steven," and said he was "With Asset Verification." Number givne was 1-877-630-6409....
- Joelagnaf replies to BC| 2 repliesI was shocked after listening to my answering machine. Some guy I couldn't understand his name and he had my SS# and wanted to verify that a Timothy Brecklinger was living at this address, gave me a reference number and told me I had to respond within 24 hours or they would assume he lived here and that my SS# was his????? Thank God we have LifeLock. I called and they told me me that they Googled the number 877-630-6409 and he told me to do the same which I did and I find all of these comments. He put a note on our account with all this information and told me to try and block their calls or just don't answer them as they are scammers from overseas. He also said that we were protected by their 1 million dollar policy if my identity or my husbands were stolen. LifeLock is the best. I get e-mail alerts from them all the time telling me that they blocked hackers or they will call and ask if we have applied for a loan in another country. These people are there for their customers 24/7. Best money I ever spent!!!
- Pudge replies to JoelagnafYour post sounds suspiciously like a spam attempt. Reported.
- BC replies to JoelagnafWhat happens if LifeLock gets hacked? After all, the credit card company only has one account of yours. LifeLock would be a hackers dream as it would contain everything all in one place.....
- kathy jacobsReceived a call from this #. Said they needed to verify my address to send papers to fill out. Gave a reference #. Sounded very budiness like. Mentioned a name like Zachary Zimenburg, I don't know anyone by this name. Glad to see I'm not the only one called by them, I won't call back.
- Caller: MMS and Associated
- Steve CalumetRude, unprofessional and they threatened to get me fired and come to my house if I didn't give up someone I knew. Also want to verify my SS, and said they will be sending me some paper work. They refused to say what they really wanted and just tried to bully.me Sorry losers, bulling won't work. I welcome them to come to my home so I can implement the "castle" law.

- Call type: Debt collector
- BigAThis is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
