Caller gave me a reference number then transferred my call to someone who would not explain the nature of the call.  Sounded very suspicious.  He got rude when I would not give him a "reference number".

Pretty much the same exact thing happened to me... got a call from an unknown number with this number as the callback. They were asking for someone else, thought they had the wrong number so I called to let them know. The guy on the phone was incredibly rude and kept asking me to give my "reference number" which I did not have. Tried to tell him my side of things and he hung up.

My family is getting the same calls from this number!!! I called them and it's MNS? Said they were sorry for the calls because there was no file on me. Very wierd

Debt collector that will not give out information about their location or address.  Uses scare tactics such as wage garnishment, tax lein's  and bank account seizures as inference of their actions.  

I'll do you one better. Their ID said Unknown, so I let it go to voicemail. A representative from SF verification services, whose name was Joe Colletto (sp?), was calling for someone else, wanting them to verify their name, address, place of work and social security number. He gave a reference number and said to call 8776306419, saying that the person had now been officially informed of a pending litigation. WTF?

i got the same msg on my voice mail saying i was officially notified ... really....

I received the same harassing call from the same number. So did all my sisters and my brother as well as my 14 and 18 year old nieces and 20 year old nephew. All these calls happened within a 1 hour time span. They called everyone in my family before contacting me!! I called the number and they refused to give me any information about their company or what this matter pertains to. They demanded that I provide them with my information, I refused. I will be reporting them for harassment.
