I got a whole slew of calls from this number over the last few days and can't block the number...seeems that Telus makes it so that you can't block their spam....figures!!

I'll answer next time they call and give them a blast. I'm still fuming over the incredibly bad customer service I had from Telus almost 3 years ago. Customer service - what a joke! Their call center is 10,000 miles away and staffed by people who promised every day for a month (but lied) that I would get service. I got passed from department to department until I exploded and cancelled all Telus service.  Shaw were able to install phone and internet service in 3 days. Needless to say, calls from Telus are not welcome in this house.

I also experienced Telus's "customer service" -- without doubt the worst in Canada.  Just as they did with you, I found that they would lie and deny, and generally make up stories to try to cover over their gross incompetence.  Technically, I found their service (TV, Internet and phone) to be very good, but just could not stomach their customer care incompetence and dishonesty -- so switched to Shaw who do a great job.  It'll be a cold day in Telus's HQ before I ever consider going back to them.

Just tell them you are already a Telus customer, and they'll let you go.  Easiest way to get rid of these people or other Telemarketers.

Just had a call from this number.

Whenever I get a call from a telemarketer, I add them to one of several contacts on my Iphone Named Telemarketer List 1 through 6 so far) . I have the ringtone on these lists set to Silence, so if they call again - at least they don't interrupt me.

Ditto ... and also to the earlier posting. This must be a cold call to random numbers. Now that I know who they are, I won't even answer....not just to listen to more and more lies from them about what they say they can provide (but can't). I also had good Telus service where I lived before but found they couldn't seem to provide the internet where I am ...the filipinas who give customer unservice lied and lied and lied until I exploded too.

Telus has a big image problem to fix ..... on an aside...they recently sold me mobility service which they are also unable to provide, it seems. They are happy to take the money but can't fulfill their side of the deal. Now I have a $100 a month phone that sits unused unless I get in the car and travel miles away to get service. And I know that if I contact them to complain and ask to be let out of the contract, they will foist me off onto the customer service agents again!!!

Claimed to be Telus, but wanted to talk to "whoever is in charge of the telephone services there". Well if its Telus, you should damn well know who you need to talk to, so buzz off scum bag. Besides, its not like I'm thrilled with Telus anyways, between them and Shaw its a race to the bottom of the barrel for customer service. I hate both of them, but where else can you go when you live in a small town. Bah.

The philipino sounding lady called me from this number.  Said she could offer me a Telus bundle.  I already have a Telus bundle, so shouldn't she know that?

They claim to be from Telus, but they are NOT from Telus, because I've had calls from Telus before that are not this ignorant.  Telus is hard to deal with and I don't particularly like them, but this phone number is an imposter just looking for personal info.

The lady hung up on me when she started to tell me the numbers I was using, which I told her were all incorrect.

Shouldn't a phone company that just called you know your phone number?  LOL.

Got the "call" again.  SCAMMER Wrichelle Labille is her name, but probably not her real name.  She is a fraud.
This is not a Telus call.  They want you to give an "electronic registration" username and password to a new bundle.  That's the claim, and its all a farce.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.  They are not Telus employees.

I called the number back, it's Telus Small Business Sales. I asked them to take me off of their list, let's hope they do. It's definitely Telus, just annoying sales reps.

Switched to shaw for business telephone, 29.95 for all call fetures and unlimited long distance. My last Telus bill was 118.00 and 72.00 long distance and a notice that my rates were increasing. That number called offering to lower my business rate to 14.95 (basic). I wonder if they will rebate me all the overcharges for the last 30+ years?

At one time many years ago Telus used to be good, but unfortunately their level of service isn't what it used to be.  They called here trying to recoup some of their lost business I guess.

Upon answering the lady (sounds like a young filipino) was giggling. "Can I ah... haha... speak with umm... haha... ". Just annoying. Be professional in your job.

    Business Owner
I received a call today at my business. The caller said they were calling from Telus and would like to speak to the name of the original business owner from more than 25 years ago. The name is still on the account hidden from the business name. I told him my first name and he asked for the last name, but I told him that if he was truly from Telus then he would know that, as it's on the account as well. We never changed the original owner as we can't find him to change over the name and they won't do it without permission. He wanted to sell me Optic TV services. He was actually very polite when told we don't need a TV service in our very small retail business. Wished me a good day and hung up. I've received these calls from Telus before, they are just trying to add features to an existing account in my case it seems.

It is a telus marketing number. I confirmed the number with Telus by calling their phone number that is listed online. They actually offered me a good deal for business internet and phone. I was skeptical but it was telus.

This number has been calling me for months. I finally answered. They claim they are from Telus, and asked to speak with me (used my first name only). When I said this was me, they hung up.
