charged my cell phone 9.99 - I have no idea who they are - cell phone co has blocked all future charges from these scammers

I got scammed by this company True-Digit with that number for $9.99 to my cellphone bill. I blocked it but there should be a way to get the money back from these unauthorized scams

Had the same thing happen to me.  Got charged for 3 different 9.99 charges.  Phone company adjusted my account and blocked all premium calls.  I received these as a text message and since I don't answer unknown numbers can't figure out how they could get it charged to my account.  Hopefully the blocking will take care of the problem since having your numbers listed with the Do Not Call List does nothing!!

I wondered if this is a scam. Could also be idiots trying to hack the phone. I blocked them (and the other yahoos who contacted my number). I also got charged the $9.99 - but for what???!
This is fraud, and in the future, I can't wait to see these people all sued.

They are not only sending unsolicited text messages, they billed me for service that i never signed up for.  Because they do it via text, they get the money directly from your cell phone provider before you even know you are being billed.  To get your money back you have to try to call them directly and request a refund.  They will tell you that you are not eligible for a refund.  This is a complete SCAM!  Please post if they have pulled this nonsense on you!  I am fed up with their antics and am considering building a Class Action law suite against this company, its parent company and subsidiaries who all run the exact same scam.  Please rally behind me and lets bankrupt this company for their unethical and illegal practices.

The company is TrueDigit and its Celeb Alerts. They billed my At&t phone bill. At&t reversed 3 of 4 payments.
This company must be stopped. At&t rep said At&t is trying to stop this from going on.

Original number from this scam company, TrueDigit was 855-707-0053.  Comes in via text messages called CELEB ALERT. 9.99 a month. That number was shut down and new number of 877-643-2490 started up. Company Rep said they NEVER charged me, but in fact phone service was being charged and on monthly bill, which was missed by bill payer of the account. I never signed up for this, never authorized it and my only recourse is to put a BLOCK on my phone. I have password from phone company now to use if any purchase is made online by me.
