It is United HealthCare. They call with a service for their clients and offer them the opportunity to speak to a nurse about how their Medical care is being handled and if they have any questions.

This is NOT United Healthcare. I called the number on the back of my insurance card and asked them to verify it. They told me that number does not belong to United and to give them NO information.

It is United Healthcare - however, they will NEVER ask you to verify  more than your DOB and address.

I let it go to voicemail.  It was United Healthcare (nurse - case manager) looking to follow up on my recovery from a surgery the month prior.

I just got a call from 877-643-5143 with no other Caller ID info. I didn't take the call, and they left no message. I recently called United Healthcare NurseLine late at night to ask a question. I got a letter asking for followup, but none is required. I believe they are following up by phone as well.

I got a call from 877-643-5143. I though this was a follow up call from when I called the nurse a few days ago so I called them and verified my name and address. They stated I missed an appointment on the 7th which I didn't have and made another one for the 14. The lady I spoke with changed the name of the person I needed to speak with and couldn't give me her last name. She also stated to answer the call even if I don't know the number. (red flag)

I called United Healthcare and spoke with them and they stated "We do not call our members to inform them about benefits". Please DO NOT answer these scammers or give them any info about your account with UHC or any other information.

I have received several calls from several locations over three days, all claiming to have to do with a health policy through United Healthcare. After I hit return on the first call, it went to an utterly different number in a different state, where they could find no reason I had been called. Today came another call from a Minnesota number claiming to be with the educational institution through which i have this insurance. It asked me to call a number that wanted my birthdate, etc., but was not affiliated with that educational institution. I told them to email me.
This reeks of a scam. I have never had any luck communicating with United Healthcare on and off over 10 years. I will ignore all such further calls.
