On Line Marketing hustle. They say they are affiliated with Specialty Mechandising Corp (SMC) which thet are not. They try to get you to list your web site with them for $1,000-$2,000 for nothing in return.  Debbie will keep calling back again and again.  I reported them to the Attorney General and FBI.

Just got a call from this number.  I have a voice mail to email nmber so did not talk to person.  Did get a really bad feeling from the message he left.. glad I looked for some info on this number before I called back.

Vance JUST called my business line asking me to give him a return call regarding my company website.  Problem is he got the website all wrong.  Not sure what made me do some quick reseach before returning his call, but I am certianly glad I did.

I received a similar phone call as Web Site Business Owner.  I would like some help to report them to the Government.

YEAP CALLED WITH DEBBIE AND ALSO BEEN RECEIVING CALLS FROM MONICA WOODS, BUT I DID FALL FOR IT, THEY CALLED AS Specialty Mechandising Corp (SMC) THEY SAY THEY ARE AFILIATED WITH SMC, I AM A MEMBER OF SMC AND REGRET IT NOW THOUSAND TIMES, THEY OFFER YOU ADVERTISING AND STUFF AND I DID BUY IT THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR $1,598.00 DOLLARS AND OF COURSE I DIDNT HEARD BACK FROM THEM, PLEASE DONT ANSWER THEY CALL, THEY WILL TRY TO BE NICE, SAYING U R DOING A SMART THING, THEY WILL TELL U ARE SMART, U HAVE A NICE NAME, AND BUNCH OF [***] TO GET U TO GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER, I DONT KNOW WHY I DIDNT CHECK ONLINE RESEARCH BEFORE I PURCHASED ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

I have been receiving a call from Renee from national marketers advertising. She tells me she is the coach for advertising. They want you to spend your money one advertising. I thank you for this information, I researched this before calling her back with my CC #.  Thank You so much

This guy has been abrupt and piffy since I asked numerous questions as to his identify and to state the exact nature of his business. He has called 3 times thus far and claims he represents SMC  (Speciality Merchandise Corporation.) I obtained this by asking him Direct pointed questions.As I said he is abrupt and is quick to hang up and call back with a urgent but defensive message that if i want to know about his business to check out a certain name. I think the ball is in my court now. He no's I;m on to him. He is a Con man. I urge you to contact the local offices of the FBI as well as your local Attorney Generals  Office. Note the con mans extension to the listed number is 1224 and goes in my case by the name of Vance.

I was unaware till now that this blog even existed. A customer was nice enough to inform me of this gossip unfounder slander site.
(1) the people we call have just been taken by a rippoff company called SMC. They are sold a membership to a warehouse and a website, and given absolutely no clue or help regarding the third and most important phase of any business "ADVERTISING".
(2) Then they are given some third rate telemarketing child pretending to be some kind of coach, who takes them for another 2-4,000 dollars for a bunch of crap they don't need, and still leaves them with no real advertising. To make matters worse they tell them they dont need any and to hang up on the companies who call trying to help with that phase. Thus INSURING the failure of the persons business.
(3) at no time, ever, has anyone on my staff claimed to work for SMC. All our clients are told clearly we are a seperate company. I did not spend 8 years in college to drive a fork lift in a drop shipping warehouse. I also did not spend 4 years building the most solid reputation with the Better Business Bureau of anyone in this industry, to directly affiliate my company with a company with 1,000's of unresolved national complaints.
(4) sometimes we do call more than once. Often times people are at work or busy and we care enough them to try to reach them before their business fails.

Tell the government what? that someone care enough to try to help you finish your business and make money with it? Im not sure the government is too concerned with that.

You think you have a head ache now? wait till 6 months from now when that business you spent thousands of dollars on fails, having a website no one has ever been to and products no one has ever bought. Stock up on ibuprophen.
