Okay - they left a voicemail. It's portamedic (sp?), and they schedule physical examinations for Northwestern Mutual, for life insurance. They may also work with other life insurers, but my call was regarding Northwestern Mutual.

You can always ask them who requested the appointment. They will tell you your agent's name.

They are portamedic it's one of the biggest Paramed companies that take care of Inc exams for major Inc companies

I called Portamedic direct today (November 19th 2010) after having numerous calls left on voice mail from this and 1 other number. They said they are unaware of any automated calling system and also noted that I am not in their system so dont know why I am being called (I havent applied for any insurance) They said they will look into it.

It is Portamedic. Called me to set up and exam for life insurance. This was a valid call.
