This company ( Major Hospital ) calls all of the time; even though I have made payment arrangements.

Also get multiple calls from this number, even though I've made payment arrangements. Looks like one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing (metaphorically).

This is a business that contracts with Major Hospital (located in Shelbyville) out of Greensburg, IN to do the money collecting part of the billing process.  They are harassing in the extreme and have started calling me less than 72 hours after a bill was printed from their system to "make sure I received it."  They will not allow me to speak with a supervisor nor give me a number to contact a supervisor.

Calling a patient to ask them about whether they have received a bill that is not even due for weeks is harassing behavior that it appears is typical for this company.

After speaking with the CFO of Major Hospital and informing him about the behavior of this company, he promised to look into it.  I have yet to hear back from them (it has only been a few hours), but I plan on sending the company a cease and desist letter and seeking medical care elsewhere as long as this company is contracted for billing, and I am looking into filing a complaint with the BBB and possibly the State Attorney General too, as these people have no business contacting me about bills which haven't even been received in the mail yet since they haven't existed for more than three days, will not allow me to speak with a supervisor, will not give me any information about the bills that I haven't received, and don't actually want anything according to their own admissions, and will not tell me which company they work for, only that they are "with Major Hospital."

It is a shame I will not get to see some of the excellent providers at Major Hospital because I would rather go to another location than deal with these people.  It is really not a good way to treat patients nor stay competitive with regional hospitals.

Got a call about a $100 payment due on my son's blood draw.  Payment had already been made thru insurance HSA so check doesn't come from us. They wanted copy of check (front and back) FAXED to them. I said this is 2018, I don't have a fax but would be more than happy to email screen shot of HSA website. Apparently they don't have "external email" to accept that but I could get a copy of the check and TAKE IT TO THE HOSPITAL??  I said, no I'm not doing that, I have way too much to do at the business I own and if you can't take an email you'll just have to wait for payment.  Payment that was paid as soon as it came thru the insurance portal, by the way, so not even past due...

A debt collector for Major Hospital in Shelbyville. They've called me at least twice a month, but my phone rings once and the call ends. They don't even leave me a message. It's like they really want my money, but they're doing the bare minimum to get a hold of me.

Ditto on the phone calls.  I get calls at least twice a day and never a message.  I am sending them a payment monthly and am not putting any more on my credit card for MHP.  I used to live in northern KY and St Elizabeth always set up a payment plan with what I could pay each month, not this pay it off in 3 months BS.  I sure do miss my physician and St E.
