received phone call on my cell phone (only phone I have).  Upon answering, no one was there.

I got a call from this number. No one answered when I picked up the phone. They called again later that day. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a msg.

I got a call from this number twice last night.  Both times I missed the call, so after the second time (which was nearly nine o'clock at night) I called it back.  After ringing many times it went to an answering machine with some lady on it who's name I could not understand and an extention number.  I have no idea who/what it is.

Number appeared on my privately listed phone several times, only my children have this particular phone's number for emergencies. Finally was able to answer a 4th or 5th time they called, only to have dead air.  In attempting to re-dial this number, phone rang excessively and finally went to a default delay message that said try back at another time.

I got a call from this number.   It was Cox Cable wanting me to subscribe to their Phone over IP program.  They called before, but never left a message.

Received a call on my home phone in Las Vegas, NV.  Number was picked up by Caller ID.  No message left

It was someone from Cox in Las Vegas. I had a bad experience talking to the person and filed a complaint. His manager is expected to call me back next friday 6/27/08(due to my work schedule) after he reviews the phone call.

got a call from this number 6/22/08 6:55P.M. ask for me by name and said she had the wrong number. i figured it was a telemarketer. i read the other coments and i do have cox cable,and i'm in las vegas but they did not say anything about cox cable. i can't be bothered if i don't no who is on the other end.

Received a call from this number late last evening, caller ID picked up and they did not leave a message.  I don't pick up calls when I don't recognize the number.

I received about 5 calls throughout June from this number and they left no message. Then on June 27th in the afternoon a man left a message that said, "You know, I feel like Prince. I'm nothing but a symbol now" and hung up the  phone. I called back the number and I got a voice mail greeting from a woman who's name could not be understood.  I work graveyard shifts and if this person continues, he'll get some of his own medicine...at 2 in the morning!

For all of you out their, who have gotten phone calls from:
1-877-644-6678. It's Cox cable, and they want you to schedule an appointment
to have someone come out and look at your internet, and telephone hookup.
Don't let these idiots anywhere around your home, your just asking for problems, plus it's also a hard sell job for their horrific and over priced
telephone service. If you're in the market for (VOIP) telelphone service, then Vonage is the answer. I've had Vonage for over 4 years, without any problems what so ever, and it's only $24.95 a month, anywhere at anytime.

A few folks here stated that it is Cox Communications trying to sell their VOIP service. I do have Cox Broadband Internet and in the past week I've been in the process of installing Vonage VOIP.  Coincidence?
In any event, no names/numbers appeared on my phone so I did not answer it.
I'm overly impressed with Vonage so far. Great Service. Great Support.

This number has called me twice today at work but I didn't answer.

I have received 9 calls in less than 2 days from this number. They do not leave a message. I have filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry website, this is simply harrassment.

I would believe Cox is giving our numbers to have someone
do sales pressure.
