Answer the phone, and when you realise it's a telemarketer, say, "Please take me off your list."  Then hang up.

It is NOT legal for them to call you, if you ask them not to.

Also, sign up with the national do not call registry.

The National Do Not Call registry is a joke.  There's no enforcement and telemarketers realized that a long time ago.

Absolutely the truth.. Plus who knows.. if you put your number in it  makes it worse... maybe the National Do Not Call Registry sells your number.. something to consider right?

HAVE YOU BEEN GETTING STRANGE phone calls from numbers you have no clue who they are and some are spam when you look them up. It’s Facebook  / Twitter ...how’s is that?
EVERYTIME YOU download an application you are sold /given to these crazy people out there and then they have all access to all your information on your account.  Did you know that?
You need to go into your privacy account page and go to the bottom of that page and find 3 options and the first 2 will show all your applications you need to EDIT them those are all down loaded and shared, you need to delete each one of them.
WOW-HUH!!! So the next app will be how much you hate deleting applications from facebook. :-) All applications you choose and except get all your info.

Watch these people. I had a transaction show up on my credit card from these people which I did not authorize. Don't know where it came from but, the bank took care of it.
