Caller using number 877-717-3355 is scammer phishing.  Scammers from India have been using Dell numbers to scam folks for years. Dell EMC does not call folks who dont own Dell products

Indian Scammers spoofing a Dell number trying to convince me that my computer services are not working.  The guy who called me was seriously BAD at scamming, I was able to give him a pretty good run around.

Scammer named "Alex" tried to tell me my Dell system wasn't accepting updates.  I told him I was busy and would call him back.  He gave me (512)  548-7144 as his "callback number".
*** Odd thing was that he knew my first and last name.   ***

Making the rounds....  I wish the real Dell was this reliable.

I work for DELLEMC and got a call from this number. I asked for their employee ID because I"m at work and that way can skype them directly internally. I suggest asking for their employee ID because they'll give you some ficticious number, then tell them that that's not an employee ID for Dell, and see what excuse they come up with.
