CALLS ON MY CELL EVERY DAY

Van Ru. They just started collecting on my Natl Grid bill from Central NY

I am so sick an tired of this number calling my cell. THey keep calling for someone that doesn't own my cell. I AM SICK OF IT and i have called their number numerous times and it goes to their voicemail and I tell them every time not to call my cell. It is getting very upsetting. I fear I have to CHANGE MY number so they will STOP!!

Have received numerous calls from this number claiming to be a collection agency.  They ask for someone unknown to me.  I have told them I do not know this person and this is not their number.  I have asked them to remove my number from their list.  They continue to call.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Send them this "drop dead" letter VIA certified mail and request a return receipt:

I am notifying you in writing that your agency has contacted me regarding a debt for [name of person who collector is contacting you about]. No one by that name lives at my address or phone number.

Therefore, I am requesting that you cease all communication to my phone number regarding this person's debt. If you persist in believing that [name of person] is somehow connected with my address and/or phone number, please provide proof of your claim.

You should direct all future correspondence in writing as outlined in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and to cease all communication with me by telephone.

Lastly, I would like to receive confirmation in writing that you have received this letter and will no longer be contacting me about this other person's debt, or I will be forced to seek further legal action.

I look forward to your acknowledgement that you have received this notice by [date that is two weeks from date of letter].

Called my phone at 8:31 PM Mountain Time on July 6, 2018.  I knew the call wasn't going to be anything decent when I saw "800 Service" on the Caller ID; I literally picked it up, then immediately hung up (didn't even bother speaking), then came here to look up what the call was going to be, will also be adding the number to may Caller Rejection list, as well as to the blacklist on my personal site

Claims to be debt collector. Call frequently.

Just today called me on my cell about a charge-off from 2003 when I became disabled and was medically discharged from military with no income. I don't feel good about this company's legitimacy. I will look into filing a complaint with the FTC. The FBI will look into it also if it qualifies.

These clowns are trying to collect a measely First USA (later bought by Chase) credit card debt from literally 15-16 years ago lol. Good luck! I can't believe they actually buy such old debts and am shocked anyone would pay it!
