I received this phone number in a text message about a problem with my "new" checking account with a bank I have never heard of.  I am not texting back or calling the number.

My wife and I got the same thing.  We are in Corpus Chrsiti.

Look at the number, instead of a zero, its a capital O....

I am calling CC BBB first to confirm this bank exsists, then this bank monday to check to make sure they do not have any info concerning my account then I am calling the TX Attorney Generals Office to file a complaint in order to look into the possiblity of a 3rd party scam.

the number provided does not even match the one on the actual banks website.

Just happen to all of my 5 lines as well...what a scam..dont call!

I live in Corpus Christi and got the same text on my cell at 10:23 pm last night, just saw it on cell this morning. I'm going to call the BBB Monday.

I live in Iowa Park and I got this text. Tried to log onto web address, no luck.

I got the same text last night at 10:23 and I live in Corpus.

Received call from 877 720 9395 on 05/21/2010 at 10:55pm. No one ever calls us at that hour. We didn't recognize the number so we didn't answer the Iphone. Glad we didn't after checking the number on Google.

Same thing here... just received the text message to call because of a checking account problem.  Don't even have an account there.  What scumbags!

Same issues as above.  Received text @10:25pm from a sender  @ 36245?  Obviously some type of scam.  Called the number out of curiousity...no answer and mailbox full message.  Also looked up website and found a site for Corpus Christi Southern Pacific Credit Union and they have a complaint notice as follows:

Good idea Jay, but if this a legitamate credit union and this is someone else's scam, logging a complaint with their overseeing agency might inspire the credit union to get involved as well.

They Sent a txt to my phone and my husbands - openissues@kvcu.org(KVCCU)One new Issue . Contact our secure telephone line at 877 720 9395 for more information. - I of course have no idea who it is so I didn't respond and googled the number to find this... We are from the st. Louis area on the il side and are visiting in KY now.. I sure hope no one falls for this and I really wonder how they got our number! We are very careful who we hive our number too! I really wonder who is behind this ??

I too am from cctx. I've got 4 unpublished cell numbers and they all recieved the same text. Wondering if  only AT&T customers are being targeted.

Got the same text around 10:17 on the 21'st and also have At&t.. I'm wondering how they got my number....
