    The caller stated he worked for Amazon and is seeking investor's. He called me from 702-389-7017; but if I had any further questions I could contact him at 877-721-6849 ext 117.

    The caller stated he was Dan Kennedy, the senior vice president of marketing for Amazon.  He called from a Las Vegas, NV number, 702-763-5957.  He was offering an Amazon Franchise and gave an alternate number of 877-721-6849.
    Are these scam numbers?  I haven't been able to find any information on these numbers.

    Yes, this is a well known scam involving Amazon.  They do not call people.  These crooks will ask for money to get that 'franchise" which doesn't exist.  There is a simple solution.  Go to Amazon's official web site and call them.  They have no "franchises" listed on their web page.
