Whoever these guy's are they phone number came up as 210-538-9306.  They tell you it's about a job opportunity then they tell you to call back 1-877-721-9248

I got the same call today.  Same thing, came up as 210-538-9306, asked I call back this number.

9/20/2010-Received voicemail about a job, on "landline" from 877 7219248.
They are harvested information i may have posted on an online jobsite, such as Hotjobs.
Look for annoying emails also.

Door to door is the toughest, and they don't say that outright--you have to go to their website to see the truth.

Got a call from caller ID 516-750-0125. Message said Sarah was calling with possible job offer and to please call back 877-721-9248 if interested. I don't think so. Anyone who wants to hire me would not contact me that way.

got a voicemail, did not mention company name or what type of position, the 1st thing I did was google the # and it brought me to this page.  The red flag is they did not state their company name in the message

Got a call from them about a job.  I am posted on Monster and Career Builder.  It sounded like they were calling from a Middle Eastern country by the accent (I work for a Lebanese doctor).  It is a scam unless you are really into door to door sales.

Same thing.  Message on my answering machine.  No company name regarding a job opportunity.  Caller had a Middle Eastern accent and said her name so quickly that it was unintelligible.  If it is TRG, I interviewed with them 25 years ago when I was in college and knew it was a scam then.  They do door to door sales of whatever item they can get in bulk and sell marked up.  Back then it was vaccuum cleaners.  I'm amazed that they are still in business.

I received a phone call from 972-996-3164 asking me to call back the number 877-721-9248.  This company is called TRG & they are calling people that have their resumes on CareerBuilder.com.  Apparently they are calling everyone that does or does not have Selling/Marketing Business to Business experience.  I called back the 972 number instead of the 877 number to verify their business.  I advised them that I am not interested in such a position & to remove from this "selection" of candidates they found.  They told me that they would keep me in their database if other positions for my experience open up.  Pure confusion...

same as you all have posted. funny thing is this man with a thick accent said it was the last time he would call. thats a lie!

My son received a call from that same 877 # and the caller ID read the 516 area code. I thought it was discussingly unprofessional the way they left a messaage for him. You're right any job who calls potential applicants will introduce themself and the company they work for. Sorry, they won't receive a call back and someone needs to teach them phone etiquette.
