I've been receiving calls from this number for a while - finally took the advice found on this site about calling it back and doing their "request to be removed".  Hopefully that will work -- the really funny/strange thing is that I live in Virginia, NOT California!!!  Can't even imagine why they would be soliciting with calls to people all the way across teh country!

I've been receiving calls from this number for a while - tried blocking it through my phone company's block system, but somehow they still managed to get through.  So I took the advice of some posts on here and called the number back myself and went through their automated system to be removed from their calling list.  Hopefully THAT will work.

The really funny thing is that it is supposedly from a person running for office in California - I LIVE IN VIRGINIA!!!  Are politicians so hard up for votes that they have to solicit them from all the way across the country??

I have got this call a lot and thought about pranking the number but I want to get pelosi out of office too! lol

Well i guess its because shes speaker of house and creating policies for everyone in america instead of just california...

Buy this new call blocker called Digitone Call Blocker - Blocks numbers from areas codes, and blocks 800 numbers out of area calls.  Invited callers get right thru - all others are hung up.. Best 100 bucks I ever spent.

Got the same call, but don't talk to anyone less I recognize the number.  Can't waste my precious time on fools and idiots, campaigns and con artists.  No thanks, they wasting their engy on calling my number.  I only answer message (maybe) or recognizzed numbers.

Calls several times - no one on the other end.

I've been receiving calls from this number several times a day for more than a month. For the first couple weeks I didn't answer. Then I answered and no one was there. Now I answer and say nothing. No one is there, and the line goes dead after a while. I just blocked the number through my phone company. We'll see if it works.

From Nebraska, not California.  This number is calling the wrong state.  This could be bad press for the candidate.  Stop annoying possible supporters.  Look at the John Dennis site and you'll find other contact info.  Call them and voice your concerns.  I beleive this is a 3rd person vender hired by his  campaign.  I have 4 kids and they call just as I putting the kids to bed of shortly after.  Not cool!!!

I received multiple calls from this number and didn't answer them.  I read these posts regarding the number being a political thing.  So I blocked the number.  But then they called my number internationally and got through.  If they are calling internationally to circumvent my block, then they are harrassing and need to be stopped!

Go to a site called Pipi.com - it is a John Dennis and he is running for something somewhere - this is an automated call - just pick up the phone and put it down - continue with TV or whatever - they will hang up and not call back

If you answer or call back and tell them, they WILL take you off their list. After I found out who it was, I sent him a check because I HATE PELOSI. I did ask them not to call any longer, as he HAS my support! They were very nice to me.

It is Comcast!

Looks like these spammers are at it again. Called my cell phone today, left no message. I did not pick up.
