Received call at 5:35 pm June 14, 2010.  Received on my cell phone.  There was no response to my answering.

This number continually calls but does not respond when I answer the phone.

I get a call several times a wk from this number...no one on the other end..........?

They said they were from Verizon Wireless trying to upgrade our phone.

I keep getting calls from these jerks.  Never anyone on the line, just an automated woman's voice saying goodbye.  You called me up to say goodbye?  Morons!

Yeah, I keep getting calls from them too.  And I'm on the do not call registry!  Same thing, no one is on the other end.  What gives?

If it is verizon wanting to upgrade my phones they should talk to me, both of my kids phones have broke but I can't upgrade them until November this year, I tried but new phones would cost full price!  Makes me want to change phone companies, spending $280 a month and 2 lines not able to receive/make calls is craziness!  I'd get insurance to get new phones but they will be the junk we already have, which is only a year old.  I hear Metro may be the new way to go, only $40 and you even get web service on your phone, for what I pay we don't even get that!  talk and text only!

How would we even know it's them if they only say "goodbye"?  There's good customer relations for you!

They call my home phone every day. Very annoying.

If you call 877 725 7692 Verizon will remove your name from their promotional data base. You get these calls because you don't connect. I called them and they were sorry and said they would remove my name from their database.

Yes.  I've done it twice.  I am on the National and State do not call lists so they shouldn't be calling me in the first place.
  They rtemove you from their database for about six months and then they starty to call again.

I get these calls also, but I don't think the do-not-call registry applies if you are a customer (which I am) and I have not opted out of getting calls and/or promotional mail.  My contract is up with Verizon and it is possible that they have farmed out my landline number to others hoping to get a commission when they get me to renew my contract.  They usually use a computer to make the calls and sometimes when you answer, the human agent is busy and you either get the computer or silence...

Please stop calling.

I just upgraded my wife's phone and now they keep calling me.

You have to love that I tried using Verizon's reverse look up and they say that the # is unknown with no results????? Great anonymity, it's their #!!!

Verizon has a call block feature. I added 877-725-7692. We shall see if this works.

I called the number. It's Verizon Wireless with a promotional call. They say the will remove me from the call list but it may take 30 days. Most annoying.
