Scam spam fax for Yellow Page Texas claiming they can put your ad on Facebook when you can do that on your own and cut out the middleman and not pay $99 a month for two years!!!

Received the same scam spam here in Wisconsin today...ya, right, let me get my checkbook!

Your phone rings. It is a fax. The caller ID is blocked, so there is your first clue that you're probably dealing with a shady scammer. If you DON'T accept the fax, the thing will wait awhile and call you again. And again, and again, and again. Accepting the fax prints out a form with the YELLOW PAGE logo (fingers walking) across the top... mine read "YELLOW PAGE PENNSYLVANIA". They have culled your business info from yellow-page-usa.com, but they ARE NOT "Yellow Page", they are "Open Business Directory Ltd.." with an address hidden in the small print, where you should send your MONEY payment to, printed as: "Al Barsha, P.O. Box 450676, Dubai, UAE" They want a contract commitment for what totals up to be near $2,400.00, half of it due now, "payable one year in advance", for them to "create your company's page on facebook.com". I really hope no one falls for this: it is super easy to 'create' your business's 'page'/account on facebook.com -- the hard part is maintaining it with promotional materials for your company, and promoting your presence; all of which needs to originate with work from your own company's staff anyway. IMPORTANT UPDATE to above: I erroneously thought they'd gotten your info "from" yellow-page-usa.com -- but that .com site is actually the fake "front" website, designed to further confuse. The REAL "Yellow Pages" website is "yp.com" or http://www.yellowpages.com/

This was an unwanted FAX - no header with number the only number listed was a FAX 877-731-0857.  My last call function said the originating number is 676-757-3552.

Got a fax this morning claiming to be a "Directory Listing Order Form", it had our company info on it, but not theirs. So I googled the toll free number and found this page... interesting. We're in Alaska. Spam! DO NOT respond!
