Call back number.  It is Wells Fargo with a promotional offer (recording). Bokii is right: type 1 to be removed from their list.

Wells Fargo calling with a "special promotion." I blocked the call on our phone so it rings once and they get a busy signal. Called 10 times in 2 hours on Friday.  Finally answered and told them now not a good time.  They gave me their name and number.  Called 20 times in 4 hours Monday. And 15 times in 4 hours today and still calling. I call this harassment.  Called FCC. Can't file complaint because of previous business relationship.

Called twice, so far today. 20 May 09.  No one on other line and no message left.

I have this number blocked as a result of being called several times and checking sites like this one to discern exactly who it is that has been calling me. Today hit an all-time high--they called over 10 times in the course of two hours. I finally called the number back--yes, it is Wells-Fargo Bank--and opted out of their marketing list. It will take over 30 business days for my number to be excluded. As soon as I hung up, my phone rang again and it was them calling so I answered it and had a few words with the tele-marketer. I told her that this was plain and simple harrassment and that she needed to remove my number immediately from her list. She then informed me that Wells-Fargo is handling this promotion in conjunction with Minnesota Life Insurance and that in order for my information to be removed, they would be caused to share it with this company. I went ballistic and told her that this was black-mail...that I had no interest in what they were offering and yet my personal information (name, address, phone) was going to be shared with another company and I had no say so about it whatsoever. This is victimization at its worst. My daughter is an attorney and I am going to consult with her in regard to my rights to keep my personal information private while also being removed from tele-marketing lists. Consumers do have rights but we need to act to ensure them. I will NEVER again do business with Wells-Fargo and will tell everyone I know about this situation so they will know not to make the choice to use them if given any other options .

There must be something done to prevent Companies from sharing personal info with such an ease as it is done in the US.

Personal info can NOT be shared very easily in Europe and my country--Russia. When the US will have such a law? Untill then, many will be harrassed by telemarketers.

We have been getting many many many calls from this number.  I took the other suggestions and called the number back to be removed from their caller list.  The number I called was indeed Wells Fargo.  I hope they remove us from their list soon! UGH!

THey called again today, after I opted out several days ago.  I am on the do not call list, does that not matter?  I am going to report them to the ftc, too.
