Additional information: Contacted Wells Fargo customer service. Verified my accounts are set up with the maximum restrictions that can be specified. That includes no sharing within WF and no phone solicitations. Based on this information I would have to consider any calls from this number to be bogus and most likely some type of scam.

It is Wells Fargo promotions.  Call the number back and follow the opt out instructions.

Its Wells Fargo and they give you an "Opt Out" option when you call back.

Called and left no message,called back and it is Wells Fargo,like an early post I was able to do a OPT OUT,said it will take 5 days to be off the call list

I finally answered a call from this number today. It was a very nice lady, said she was calling for Wells Fargo to thank us for our mortgage business. They are promoting a mortgage insurance, and want to send it for you to look over along with a $20 Visa prepaid card. Told her we have a sick family member and can't always get to the phone (true) so please remove us from the phone solicitation list. She said no problem. We'll see.

have gotten calls from this number (in error) and others like in California.
I believe that these are some kind of Collection Agency.  Instead of checking they just make these annoying calls to people.  I have filed complaint with the people at DONOTCALL.GOV (if you are on the list) and some have stopped.  Now I get this one and will file complaint with DONOTCALL on this number too.
