- Chris replies to joeThey called my supervisor and left the same message as Joe got. My supervisor tried to call them back and stated that could not leave vmail or speak to a "live" person. My wife stated they called home saying they were from Nationwide. They even called my parents looking for me! What do these people want and where are they getting their info from? Its scary that they know where I work AND how to get in touch with my supervisor.
- radarThey have called me for a second time. First they called my work, family and friends two days ago. I reported them to the FTC and advise everyone else to do the same. They are a scam. Do no give them any information. They leave different numbers each day. Report them to the FTC. FTC # is 877-382-4357. They need to be stopped their a scam.

- Holly| 1 replyThey called three times in five minutes and left a threatening message on my voicemail. Caller ID had a different number than the one they asked me to call. The message said I had charges pending. What kind of scam is this? I have not called them back.
- claudiai got a call from a tony banks stating i had claim and charges against me... but called from a mount airy number in maryland but gave the 877 to call back on. phone number is 240934-4243 called like 5 times.. hung up first then left message..

- ChrisMy supervisor called this number back, pressed "0", spoke to a person identifying themselves as Raymond Clements from Nationwide litigation and gave a case number. Told my sup. that charges are being brought against me with a need to appear in court. My sup. asked if they had a website and they said "no"(sounds fishy). They "fished" my son's cell phone number from his Facebook page and left the same threatening message towards me on his voice mail.I checked my state's court docket website - Nothing for me there. I, too believe this is a scam - When you search Nationwide online, most of the hits are for the insurance company. I will wait and see if they call back. I will definitely be reporting them if they call back.

- BetaYes, same thing... Called my mother looking for my ex husband. They told her that my ex was facing serious charges and was on the run. (This, while my ex has our son for the summer). Now, they led my mother to believe that the police were after him, and that he had taken our son on the run... My ex and I have been divorced for a decade... and he doesn't even know my parent's number. I called them, and told them to remove the number, and make a note not to call again. They called again the next day. And when I called them back, the man, identified as "David" got very rude with me, told me that he was not with collections, and the police were on their way to my ex's house right now, and that if I cared about my son, I would have my ex call him immediately before things got nasty. I told them that I worked in collections, and that they weren't allowed to say those things. I tried to tell him again to take my mother's number off, and that any further contact from them would be considered harassment, and he began talking over me, saying that he was terminating the call and hung up on me. Called back again, and talked to Mr. Sanchez, who also stated that he had serious charges hanging over his head. I asked if they were criminal charges, he said he didn't know... I asked what kind of business they were, he asked me if I was related to my ex. I said sort of, and told me I should have my ex call, that it was a courtesy to him, about a personal business matter. I asked him if they were a collection agency, and he said he could only speak to my ex about that. Mr. Sanchez was not rude like the men who called my mother (and refused to give her their names) and David was.

- YonaA Carol Stevens called my home number from 877-740-8371. Same type of call as all of you... threatening charges against someone who lives here with me. I just reported this to the FTC and was also told to call my State's Attorney General.
It's sad that people have nothing better to do with their time.
Be careful everyone!!

- Scared in Seattle| 1 replyI just reveived a message on my home phone from an Amy Romano, she stated that she had a claim that was submitted to her office, she wanted to verify my address, and that I would be served papers at work and home for charges and claims against me. When I tried to return the call it was after hours. The voice mail did not give me any information as to who they were. No name of the company at all. When googling the number I found this site.
- radar replies to Scared in Seattlethis is a scam please report them to the FTC
