The call was disconnected 3 seconds after answering.

Caller ID says First report ADV which is an RBS fraud monitoring service, but they call every day and it disconnects a few seconds after answering

Just block it, unwanted RBC service thats trying to get your money

Caller says she is from RBC Identity Theft Protection service that says its free for 30 days and sends you an email and starts asking for your information. Possible scam or fraud using RBC name.

never answered, looked up this thread, glad i didn't. Phone number showed up different on calling screen, seems like they made their contact name to appear like a regular number from my area.

The bot called my home line which is not linked to my RBC CC. Used my cell to call local RBC - This is a sophisticated scam and catches many folks. Hung up on the bot after talking with RBC agent.

It’s more of a bot/AI in its responses and I didn’t feel comfortable how deep it was asking my personal information
1.why would my bank ask my email yet it’s registered with them
2. Why ask me to spell my name yet it’s registered with them
3.I believe if it’s all about identification, I just need to speak all the inform with my voice not spelling them letter after letter.
4. The time lag between my voice and the Bot/AI response makes me insecure

I could smell the curry before answering.

It frustrating how many scammers there is in Canada making me want to leave country
